I use to love it here. The food is great and the service WAS great up until the day we didnt give a tip to a our server ( red hair, and the ONLY time we didnt give a tip, didnt do that good of a job). Every time we have gone back she goes and tells our server that is attending us about her not getting a tip and the rest of the crew on shift and start getting the "stink eye" from everyone and rude! Today was our FINAL straw, after all the dirty looks and being confronted by one of her friends (we still didnt even order our meals!) We chose to leave. As we were leaving we were told not to go back as her little friend followed us out the door... It was brought up to the manager and manager did NOTHING when she was told about it the previous time we went!
First time we went back after getting her as our server , we got her again, she had a really bad attitude, went to go tell one of her little friends, her friend comes to our sections and says "oh they were the ones that had you running up and down and didnt give you a tip"...( Yes we had to ask for EVERYTHING! ) once I heard that from her friend, I went to let the manager know and asked to be moved to a different section, that server was great and she got her tip.... Next time we went, it was pretty empty and we got a young man who was very nice and although one of our orders were wrong he still did a very good job, gave his tip and left... TODAY when we went , we got the same young man, got our drink and ordered our appetizers, that girl that didnt get her tip saw us and started the same thing all over again, one of her friends comes up to the table confronts us and it just went down hill, we just decided to leave, paid gave the young man a small tip... I walked out first and she tells me "leaving so soon" my husband walks out after me as I'm waiting in the car and I see her following him and hear her tell him "dont come back".... HORRIBLE , HORRIBLEB HORRIBLE. This server with the red hair , short just made that place lose regular customers (weekly basis) and made her co-workers lose...
Read moreI hesitated in leaving this feedback, but I can not pass this restaurant without thinking about this bad experience. With that said, a few weeks ago my husband and I moved from Maine to Ohio (I have a severe medical condition needed to be close to family), We went to breakfast here and I walked into Ihop with a Starbucks mug (Filled with a beverage that I drink at breakfast time). The waitress came over and asked for our drink order, my husband ordered coffee and I ordered water, once the order was taken, the waitress very rudely said "Um I am going to have to ask you to put that away, you can't have it in here" I was shocked and embarrassed, my husband told her I needed it for medical reasons but she still said that I can not have it. I was disgusted and felt humiliated and did not feel like explaining (or getting into a debate), I closed the lid and moved it aside. The waitress asked what we wanted to eat and my husband ordered and I simply said I would have nothing, (In order for me to eat I have to finish my drink, then eat, then I can take my medication). At this point I was fine with the request from the waitress and not very upset, just embarrassed. The waitress left and a few minutes another waitress came over to our table and began to speak to me " The other waitress just told me that you had a problem with her telling you to put your drink away"..... At this point I was over it, I was humiliated, the other customers were beginning to stare and at this time I just looked at her and told her I was "ok, I just wanted them to drop it and leave me alone, I am really ok", she said "no your not because you didn't order". I just told my husband I wanted to leave, so we got up and left. I will never eat at another Ihop in my life. We left and went to Denny's, where I walked in with the same Starbucks mug (with my nutrient drink), and ate in total peace and had a...
Read moreWe went here today for breakfast. There were very few customers when we arrived. When we walked in, someone named Rachel was yelling across the restaurant at employees about where they parked their car. As Rachel approached us to seat us, she rudely scolded another female employee about parking her car in their lot instead of across the street at Walmart parking lot. The employee made a comment about how she couldn’t because a semi was parked there, and Rachel replied that she was able to so this employee should be able to too. Rachel then picked up silverware and menus and told us to follow her. She never greeted us in any fashion nor confirmed that it was just the two of us. Our waitress was so extremely nice! Even after being publicly chastised for where she parked her car, she came over with a smile. We placed an order for there and an order to go. While waiting on our food, Rachel got plates to take to a table. I watched her remove bacon from a plate with her bare hands, drop it on the counter, pick it back up with her bare hands, and then place it on a plate to put in a microwave. She then removed the plate and served the bacon to a customer. At that point, I watched to ensure our food did not undergo the same unsanitary treatment. Luckily, our waitress was more careful and sanitary. Our food wasn’t great, but it wasn’t awful either. However, our to go order was ready before we had even eaten half of our food. We took the test with us to ensure the food we were carrying out would not be cold before it was delivered to our family member. Once we did deliver the food, it was discovered that the pancakes were not fully cooked. On top of being embarrassed for the way the employee acted, I am disappointed about the lack of care that went into our food. It seems like they are trying to make...
