DiGiacomo Fine Art — Attraction in Maui

I saw Rich’s art in Maui in November and I loved it but wasn’t ready to make a purchase at that point. We went back in June and I ran into Rich again and just had to buy a piece. He was so wonderful to talk to. He knew I was moving to FL weeks after we left Maui and he offered to hold and ship my piece to FL after I arrived. When the piece arrived it was packed beautifully and Rich kept me posted every step of the way so I knew where my piece was the whole time. I am so thrilled to have purchased his art. First, having lived on Maui for 2 years then being transferred to the mainland , a part of my soul was left behind. During an art show in Florida, I fell in love with two pieces! Imagine my surprise when I learned the paintings were of Maui waters by an artist living on Maui ! I was able to connect via phone with Rich. He is an amazing man and artist! We met Richard at the “Made in Maui” event at the MACC. Our home has traditional art and we were looking for something more modern with some color that would reflect light in a darker area. We purchased 3 works from Richard. One for the covered lanai and commissioned two for the interior. Richard listened to our wishes for deeper color and larger size and produced exactly what we hoped for. We are especially pleased with the “movement” in the pieces that can be produced by his process. We are very happy with the pieces and with our time with Richard.
