yoCARDs — Local services in Maui

The place is a scam. They sell boxed packs of fake Pokémon cards. My family stopped here while waiting to fly Out of Maui. My son bought a box of Pokémon card packs. He came home and opened the box to find the packs had been opened but “carefully” resealed. We then took them to our local card shop and the guy showed us how they are fake. Light shines through, they are thinner than real Pokémon cards etc. after reading reviews folks are complaining about random hours and the owner wanting to schedule appointments for customers. It’s a way to not have to deal with folks they rip off. An easy quick way to check if your cards are fake is to lay them on a cell phone flashlight. A real card you will barley see the flashlight. Awesome cards shop! My son and I always enjoy going there. Keep in mind, during the major part of the pandemic, their hours were limited for safety and health reasons. But currently, they are now open more days which is great. The 3 Brothers are very nice, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The shop is always clean and well stocked with sports cards, Pokemon cards and even collectors supplies like sleeves and top loaders... all at great prices. A great hidden gem. My son was so happy to find a store selling Pokemon cards in Maui. They had the new sets and a really great collection of singles from the current and older series. Their pricing was the same as you would find on the mainland. The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. BTW: We happened to pull some nice secret rares from the booster packs we purchased. It's close to the airport so was really convenient to get there. ...
