It's ok, I had the big steak $12 ,I thought it was going to be a BIG steak, however it was chop steak, flank steak. It meal was good $12 wasn't a bad for the meal on Maui. The flavor was better than an outback restaurant steak. 2 scoop rice and a salad. The salad was plain but they use the good pieces of the lettuce (at least that was nice) I actually came to this place 2 years ago, there was someone at the register (who I did not see) ignored me and a friend of mine looking for a good place to eat, I am 6 foot at that time 320 pounds my friend is 6'6" at that time was 430 pounds. 2 big guys walk into your restaurant we were NOT going to order just a salad. She would not even lift her head up to look at us in the eye . We waited 5 minutes I know because I clocked her. Nothing we left and went to fiesta Mexican food where I know I will receive good service and good food.
This time around the lady was busy but said hello and I will be with you in a moment and to please look at the menu.
It is served on paper plates, it not a restaurant it's a local joint. My boys thought it was ok, I was buying so the price was of no consequence and was not factored in.
My wife was not please when asked she said 'it was food" I asked my 3 boys from (1-10) boy 1 (5) boy 2 (3) 5
Boy 1had Chicken and shrimp very small portions and taste was just ok
Boy 2 had shrimp and steak small portions as well
Boy 3 large garlic steak, no garlic flavor portions were small and he said the food didn't match the price.
My wife had the garlic steak as well.
The place was clean however the seats had no back to them and were very uncomfortable. The soda all costs the same 20oz bottle of your choosing.
To wrap up we probably will not be coming back I spent $75 for this lunch way more than its worth, but as a local joint it will do. Nothing fancy , portions could be bigger but a business has to decide bigger portions more customers less profit or small portions small customers and again less profit,
but the thing you need to consider is reputation
My opinion anyplace is better than this one sorry hope they change the things...

If you're on Maui and craving something fast, filling, and flavorful without the resort price tag, Blazin’ Steaks hits the spot. I’ve stopped by their Wailuku location a few times now, and honestly, it's become a reliable go-to when I want no-fuss comfort food.
The steak plate? Solid. Not fine dining by any stretch, but it gets the job done — well-seasoned, cooked how I ask (medium rare, please and thank you), and served up hot with plenty of rice and salad. When I’m hungrier, I go for the steak and garlic shrimp combo — a local-style power plate that satisfies every time. The shrimp have that buttery, garlicky punch I love, and the portions are big, which feels rare these days.
It’s definitely a takeout-style vibe — simple counter service, minimal seating, and nothing fancy — but the staff is friendly and quick. Prices are reasonable, especially considering how much food you get. I’ve had better steak on the island, sure, but not for this price or convenience.
Only heads-up: not every cut is created equal. Once, I had a ribeye that was a little tougher than usual — not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. Still, when they get it right (which is most of the time), it’s juicy, satisfying, and flavorful.
Overall, Blazin’ Steaks is exactly what it promises — bold flavors, good prices, and fast service. Perfect for lunch breaks, post-beach meals, or those nights when you just want to eat well without dressing up. I’ll definitely keep...
Read moreWe just picked up our food..so havent tasted it yet but the appalling service I just received warranted a review..first of all this is my our first visit to this establishment..so of course we had a few questions..the lady taking our order was so rude and acted put out that we had the audacity to ask any question..when I asked about the teriyaki chicken and how it was prepared she looked at me and said "its regular chicken" no other explanation...she was very short with us and everyone that came in behind us..no hello or any greeting basically "next"...then when my order was ready she sat them on the counter when I asked for a bag she mumbled something under her breath and handed us a bag..I was in the food service industry for 20 years if I ever treated a customer that way I would expect them not to return and that will probably be the case here no matter what the...
