Avvio & Prossimo Apartments — Attraction in Mauldin

I lived in the Prossimo building for a year and overall, it was an amazing experience! The managers are lovely and were always friendly and helpful whenever I needed something. Having had some negative experiences with other managers/landlords in the past, I'm very grateful for how I was treated by the property staff throughout my residency. Early on during my tenancy, I had some sightings of carpet beetles in my bathroom. Apparently they are attracted to moisture. Amazingly, the managers went out of their way to order a dehumidifier for me, and it did seem to help! I saw less of them after that. Needless to say, my standards have gone up exponentially now that I know what it's like to live in a place where people actually care about you.

I will say that if you are an introvert like me, you may have an interesting time adjusting to the lifestyle here. The apartment buildings are very secure and I never felt unsafe at any point, but since this is a multi-use development keep in mind that there will always be public foot traffic throughout the day. This was my first time living in a place like this, and while the convenience of having awesome shopping, food options and fun events outside your doorstep was amazing, you will experience the expected pitfalls of living in a public space (i.e. people dropping/leaving food or litter outside, noises from construction and events). You will be very aware of the fact that while this is home to you, for many others passing through they are out on the town! But if you can adjust to that, this is the place for you!

I moved to SC from FL last year, and during my time here I realized I wanted to be back home, so that's why I ultimately decided to leave. Otherwise I definitely would have stayed. If you really want to be here, I'd say jump in while you can. Our country needs more walkable multi-use spaces like this, and while I think I prefer living in spaces that are strictly residential, I'm happy to see more developments like this popping up throughout the country.

If you're considering a move to Bridgway Apartments, I highly recommend it based on my recent experience. I relocated from Denver, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the complex. The staff here are exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with any needs or concerns.

The community itself is incredibly clean, which adds to the overall comfort and enjoyment of living here. One of the standout features is the location: it's a huge plus to have a variety of retail options right at your doorstep. Whether you’re in the mood for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a drink, you can easily walk downstairs to find what you need.

The pool is a fantastic amenity, especially on those sweltering hot days when you just want to cool off. As for the apartments, they are really well-designed with spacious layouts that make for a comfortable living environment.

Do keep in mind that the area can get quite busy due to the surrounding retail spaces, so if you prefer a quieter setting, that might be a consideration. However, if you enjoy a bit of hustle and bustle, it’s definitely an added bonus.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this apartment complex! From the moment I toured the property, I was blown away by how beautiful everything is. The landscaping is immaculate, and the overall design of the community creates such a welcoming and serene atmosphere. The apartments themselves are incredible—spacious, cozy, and designed with so much care and attention to detail. It truly feels like home here.

One of the best parts about living here is the location. There are so many fantastic places nearby to explore, whether you’re into dining, shopping, or just relaxing outdoors.

But what really sets this place apart is the team. Melissa, Brieanna and Nicole are absolute gems! They go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcomed and taken care of. Their kindness, warmth, and energy have truly turned this apartment complex into a family away from family for me. Living far from loved ones in South Carolina can be tough, but these ladies make it so much easier. They’re always helpful, fun, and approachable—honestly, they’re the heart of this community.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming place to call home, look no further. I can’t imagine living anywhere else!
