I went to see this monument last Saturday. A friend at work had told me about it and the weather was nice, so off I went. This is a very large group of figures. There is Henry Wooldridge (twice), his mother, his sisters, brothers, nieces, his horse, his dog, a fox and a deer. The figure of Woolridge standing is Italian marble, the rest of the figures are limestone that was carved by local artists. It's quite a sight. Out of the whole group only Mr. Wooldridge is buried there. I love odd roadside...
