Tres Lagos Park — Attraction in McAllen

Beautiful park! Feels as if being somewhere else, like San Antonio (not Valley like, more fancy). To me I was like, woah "Beverly Hills", haha! Only down side is that some individuals take it for granted and show disrespect by littering fishing hooks and trash! Disappoints my heart. I came upon adult size human poop on the stage with underwear in it, spray paint on the cement stage staircase people used for making signs for photographs, the stage electrical outlets were tampered with and broken. Beer bottles found in the basketball quarts. Besides that, it is open with space to breathe and therapeutic when needing air from wherever. The trees planted are magnificent and with time will be glorious in maturity, God willing. The work down making this place was down with well planning. It is nice, only if the Valley locals keep...

This State Park is a hidden place where you can fish but you must catch and release your catch plus people bring their canoes and kayaks to the lakes. Great place for the kids walking pavement pavilions can rent area for a private party fenced in pelicans ducks and other migratory birds. Tennis courts, food trucks, walking paths, fishing, owl sightings. Great chill place to walk around. The tres Lagos park is beautiful. Walk around the A&M building for a chance to see 2 great horned owls in the evening hours.
