I love that's its small enough for parents to be able to sit down and watch your child in mostly all the park ground and play structure. My 2 yr old loves this park. The only thing is that we stayed there when it got dark, but not night time all the way, and rats started coming out and were walking on the play structure and I know that some children walk/run on there without shoes and some people take their baby's that crawl still. I know it's near the woods so it's normal, but I'm adding this so that people know and are a little more cautious for their child's safety since rats can carry diseases and things. Read moreThis is the second time we went there for cricket tournament. I must say this is one of cooler parks in Dallas area. It's situated in a quiet area. The park is surprisingly by trees, so you will always find a shade, if you are attending a sports events. The playground is cool. It will keep any age kids busy for a while. Not to mention that the water sprinkler is just beside the playground. There are trails surrounding the park. I haven't got chance to explore them. But with they definitely looks like good trails. There are coffee shops and restaurants not more than 10 minutes away...
Read moreI do love that there's everything here for everyone. There's a splash pad and a large playground with shaded benches right in the middle so you can easily watch your kids no matter where they are! This is great.
However, run off from the splash pad makes a swamp of mud on one side, which is a mess but also harbors lots of mosquitoes and bugs. Flies are everywhere! Wasps, etc. It's so much, it almost ruins the experience. My son got stung on the arm twice by a wasp while here. I think maybe with a little better bug/maintenance in the surrounding areas this could be a...
