Pepper Branch Park — Attraction in McMinnville

Went to play disc golf - first time exploring this park. Really pretty, seems to mainly be for a local kayak river float service to gain easy river access. Semi tough and technical golf course. Active construction has some of it torn up at hole 3 and 7. Nine baskets and 18 tee placements - some concrete pads with alternates just stakes with numbers and maybe a sign telling you which basket to play. Nicely contoured with only one major hill climb on 7 and then 8s basket...

I made a quick stop here last week. It's one of those places I've passed by and wished I planned ahead for a nice lunch spot. Apparently it a decent local fishing spot. On this day, there were over a dozen men in the water, casting out their lines. A local sheriff's deputy was parked here, possibly just making a presence or enjoying a lunch break? It felt very safe and definitely a beautiful spot...

Great place to take your kids pet friendly pretty good fishing beautiful scenery great place to launch your john boat or kayaks lots of space even when there's several people there's room for everyone I grew up on the Barron fork river fishing, swimming, catching bait or just hanging out i would recommend this location to everyone wanting somewhere to enjoy the outdoors thats located...
