Read moreUnfortunately I didn’t have a great first experience. I read all the reviews and it seemed like it was going to be incredible. I read the menu and was super excited to see the word “Hoagie”. As a native of Philadelphia, I’m always looking for a piece of home here in Tennessee.
Well I called and ordered a hoagie and some chips and when I got there it wasn’t ready because they forgot to ask what kinda bread I wanted. That’s no problem, I don’t mind waiting. But they brought the food out 2 minutes later and it was obviously just thrown together. I ordered a cheese hoagie and it came pressed like sad skimpy panini. I definitely did not order a hot sandwich. I absolutely can’t stand hot sandwiches. And especially a skimpy nothing to it sandwich.
There was a black hair in the sandwich rapper (I am bald lol). Which I could of ignored if the food was better.
Ordered extra mayo, it had not a single drop of mayo on it. It had hardly any toppings on it. Ordered oil and vinegar on it as well and if thy put any on there it was not noticeable. Incredibly dry and inedible sandwich. And it cost 12 bucks for a sandwich, some chips and a water. I don’t mind paying for good food, but this was a really sad excuse for a sandwich.
But the place was really cool inside and I would like to try their yogurt, so I will give them...
Read moreMy biggest concern isn't with the food, it's with how the place is being ran. I completely understand that you were busier than expected due to the Christmas parade, but as the owner, how do you not realize how bad it is and stop taking orders. We waited over 40 minutes before someone came out asking if anyone would like a refund because it was still going to be awhile for the hot chocolate. There comes a point where as the owner, you have to realize you can't keep up. And on top of that, those of us that got a refund didn't even get the full amount. I paid almost $22 after tip for 4 hot chocolates, and the refund I got was $18. I didn't throw a fit because it was not the employees fault that it was such a hot mess. That falls on the ownership, but since he disappeared into the back during the busiest part and just started telling his employees to give a cash refund, not sure why I expected different. I can't imagine running my restaurant the way this was ran yesterday. Take pride in your store and personally come out and apologize and ensure your guests are given the refund amount they...
