I have been shopping at this location for about 5 years and I’ve never really had a bad experience. However, today (July 20) I went in to purchase a stall mat the 4’x6’ one. When I entered the store it was 6:40 PM and I walked to the north end of the store where the sliding door to the mats is located only to notice the door was locked AND tied closed with what appeared to be red packing tape. The tape was woven like a figure eight to make sure no one could get outside to the fenced off area. I grabbed a pair of shoes and went to the checkout counter where I met with Chase. Chase asked if I had found everything I needed and I asked if I could purchase the 4’x6’ stall mat and was met with distain from a man who was clearly ready to go home. When I told Chase I just wanted the stall mat, he asked me if I could return to purchase the mat another day. Chase then told me the door was locked and the gate was double locked. The store closed in 15 minutes and he had a lot of things he needed to take care of before he would be able to go home. While I was standing with my wife in the checkout line, all I could manage to do a shake my head. I paid for my shoes and left.
Never in my life could I imagine telling somebody that they cannot purchase a product from a store that is open because an employee wants to make sure that they can go home. All I can imagine is being at work and telling somebody “I get off in 15 minutes. I don’t really wanna do that”. I can’t even imagine how that would go over with my Supervisor. So, not only do I not have a product I was on scene to purchase well in advance of closing time. But, now I have to make a trip back to the store tomorrow if I wanna buy the product because Chase was unwilling to sell it to me, even though there were 15 minutes until the store closed. A product that would’ve taken mere moments to open the gate for me to grab.

Told 3 times it would be there and drove there to find out it was not ever there. Also the Assistant Manager was not only one of the ruddiest person to me on the phone but also to my wife in person inside the store in front of other employees and customers. I regret every purchases I have made at this tractor supply they do not deserve my hard earned money. I do not recommend this store to anyone even if it is the last place that has something in stock. The upper management treats their customers the people that keep them in business horrible then blame their horrible customer service on logistics something that has nothing to do with customer service and that no one can have control over to begin with. No one at a management level seems to understand at this location how valuable customers are and also how to treat honest hard working people. Read moreI work 7p-7a and I stopped by Tractor Supply on my way home to get shavings and grain for a senior horse. I arrived at 7:47 still in my scrubs and the staff were doing racing laps around the parking lot racing each on ATVs. I started to load shavings into my car to expedite my trip. Logan came outside and let me know that the store doesn't open til 8. I explained that I just worked an overnight shift and need grain and shavings. He told me, that I wasn't allowed to load shavings yet because they weren't open. I offered him my wallet to hold so he knew that I wasn't trying to steal shavings. I didn't understand what the problem was so Logan asked me to leave the property. I started to cry and asked for some patience and compassion but he just iterated that I needed to leave. I did wait till 8 am to make my purchase because my horse needed it and he comes first. I bought $311 dollars worth of grain, supplements and shavings. I have always appreciated the kindness of the staff at Tractor Supply but after the way Logan treated me I'd rather shop at Murdoch's. There was absolutely no reason for Logan's behavior...
