Melbourne Village Plaza — Attraction in Melbourne

Yesterday on August 9th 2024, I took my dog Merle to Cindy's dog and cat grooming. It had rained extremely hard and had to wait 5 or 10 minutes to get out of the car I was in with a friend. I had my brand new Reeboks on and when I stepped out of her car I was in ankle deep water. My friend had on a pair of slides with socks her socks and slides were soaked. Can someone tell me why a shopping center like that would have a dip at their insurance where water stands and stays there and upon entering the water goes up to half of the tire or under half of the vehicle Tire. There are no drains draining the water off in that area and the water just stands there like a river and this is unacceptable. I have been a m e l b o u r i a n in Melbourne Florida for 19 and 1/2 years going on 20th is unacceptable behavior in a property management company. I have had four and a half years experience in property management and leasing consultant. I do not know who passed this parking lot for inspection when the property was opened several years ago, But this property and the parking lot needs a redo. Spend the money on the property and make all the parking lots and stores look a hell a lot better. I do not know where your mind is at and whoever designed this property several years ago I wonder where the design plans went w r o n g. And if any of you are going over there to visit the shopping plaza make sure that you buy a pair of rain boots and put them on. There is no excuse for this property to look like the way it is, with businesses closed down the only anchoring store I'm seeing is Gabe's formerly Old Time Pottery. Clean the place up or shut it...

A bit run down strip mall with a crazy parking lot. Both in configuration and also hills and valleys. Most notable in here is Lucky Garden (expensive Chinese food and not a place to eat in even), the Dollar Tree (not such a bargain anymore since nothing is a dollar 💲 anymore) and Anytime Fitness. The nail and hair places have always been a disappointment. Some of the seedier businesses seem to draw an undesirable element. Go during the day and don't loiter. UPDATE: The hair place is out of business while the rest of the plaza takes a slow slide down the sleezy way. The more than a "Dollar Tree" is showing being run down. Look up and see the stained or missing ceiling tiles. The empty shelves, whether it's supply issues or the poor running of the store, definitely not worth stopping in. On a whole, what a terrible strip mall. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE WHERE THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR SHOPPING...

Oh my Gallie!! I just found the best Mediterranean restaurant in Eau Gallie. I have been wanting to try Flames Mediterranean Bar & Grille. Started with a house salad that was so fresh I think they are growing out back and delicious does not do it justice. Then my Flames Mixed Grill came out and that is where the food coma started. Shish Taouk, Tenderloin Meshwi, and Lamb Meshwi all on a fabulous bed of some of the best rice I have ever had. The grilled veggies were perfect. All around the best...
