Ordered chow mein, which, as anyone with basic noodle knowledge knows, literally means crispy noodles. I’ve ordered it before for my kid, and it always came with crunchy noodles like it's supposed to. My wife usually gets lo mein (the soft, saucy kind), but decided to switch things up and go crispy this time. We placed an online order, and they even called to confirm she really meant chow mein instead of lo mein. I thought, “Wow, what great customer service!” Foolish optimism. She gets there, picks up the order, and what does she get? A bowl of watery cabbage slop with zero noodles in sight, just a depressing soup of confusion and lies. I’ve seen more satisfying meals in hospital food trays. I wouldn't feed it to a cartoon rat in a sewer. We couldn’t even call to fix it because they were closed Monday, so we rang them up Tuesday to ask where the noodles disappeared to. The rude and condescending woman on the phone answers like she’s been trapped in that restaurant for 20 years, surviving off spite and old duck sauce packets. She informs my wife that “chow mein doesn’t come with noodles unless you ask for them.” Excuse me? That’s like saying a hot dog doesn’t come with a bun unless you specially request it. Then WHY does your menu literally say, “crispy noodles”? Update your menu if your twisted version of reality no longer includes actual noodles in a noodle dish. Also, where were my fortune cookies? Am I not even worthy of a vague prophecy after this culinary betrayal?

Horrible! Ordered chicken wings that appear to have been freezer burned for years before flash boiling in oil, inside the chicken was pink and wet. Pork fried rice very bland with tiny bits of pork. Order was delivered with the chicken wings dumped out into bag container opened sideways. Dumplings taste like mushy garbage. Do yourself a favor and don't ever order from here. Can't even feed it to the animals in my yard in fear they may get sick and die and hurt the local eco system. They were in such a rush they put the boiling hot wings on the Styrofoam box that put holes in it, see photos. Someone should call the health department and have them inspected ASAP.

Have order a few times. Food was very good. Counter help friendly. Normally, I'd give it 5⭐️ rate, but I guess today is not the day to order AmericanChinese. Order was chicken lomein lunch combo. It was its usual good flavor, however the rice tasted stale. Also order a favorite, chicken teriyaki stick, it was old, seemed to be like a leftover that was refried, burnt & greasey. Eggrolls were the usual, good. I'll continue to order from here bcus usually it is really good.

I ordered a full house special fried rice, half shrimp and lobster sauce and large won ton soup. When I got home I found that my fried rice was only a half size. Being kind of close and really hungry I returned to the place to get my correct food. I called when I was getting close to tell them about the error and was put on hold so long I was pulling in when I hung up. I walked in with the bag and showed them the receipt that said full fried rice, and then pulled out the small box. The girl took it in back and I watched as the cook looked at the receipt then gave me a sour look. The girl returned telling me that he was going to take care of it. I positioned myself so that I could still view the kitchen and cook and what I saw next was not good. I see the cook grabbing small portions of fillings and putting them into the to go box, so I thought I would intervene in what I suspected was about to happen. I said, hey since you have to throw that half order away, why not give it back to me for my troubles? The girl opened the kitchen door enough to ask the cook and that is when I saw my box sitting next to his wok. She turned around and said he is not going to throw it away; he is going to add it to my full order. I said, wait you can’t do that, in fact I think that is illegal. She argued, oh but you said you wanted it a minute ago! At that point I said, just give me my money back and I will not be returning. They obviously do reuse food and I will be sending the same report to the health department for their review. I gave this place a very positive review a few years back and I rescind that. I would never recommend this place to anyone after...

This was our second time ordering and once again we were incredibly satisfied. Hefty portions. Hot, fresh, delicious. I caught myself almost ordering through doordash, make sure that from this page you click on the website and order directly from their website. Doordash inflates the prices of every item. They offer their own delivery, no need to pay more for your food PLUS pay a third party for delivery and tip. Tip them directly. Food was hot and fresh, delivery was quick, reasonably priced. If you're in Melbourne, you have to try this place. You won't go anywhere else.

We recently moved and decided to try this place. It has good reviews but the last time we ordered Chinese from the place we usually get it from we spent about $80 and the portions were so bad that even the egg rolls were about half full. So we swore off Chinese food for a while. Tonight we decided to try Lucky Garden. The food arrived quickly and the portions were amazing. Everything we ordered was full to the brim and the containers were huge. Definitions were delicious, we're playing pool and they were way bigger than the since I've had from other places, the sweet and sour chicken was hot and delicious, we got a large portion of sweet and sour sauce for our orders, we are very very very satisfied and will certainly...
