First off I'm not Catholic and have never attended services here so I can't speak to that, but I'm fairly certain that i helped cater a funeral here maybe 10 years ago. I stopped here recently though and the outside is beautiful. There's an area that looked like it's for small outdoor services, awesome views, and some new landscape work/outdoor construction going on that looks like it's really going to enhance the already beautiful grounds.

Great church! Been here for multiple occasions. Been to mass in the newer church. Went to Good Friday here as they had it later in the day compared to most churches. And I went to Divine Mercy Sunday here. Everyone was friendly and it seemed like a nice environment. I plan to come back on a day when mass is held in the old historic church. I would love to see it! Crazy that this is also the oldest church in the state.

I love attending Mass at this church when visiting the Twin Cities. The parishioners are friendly and welcoming and the church building provides a beautiful worship space. We briefly visited the historic church building which is located close by. St. Peter's is the oldest church in the state of Minnesota.

I am not a church-goer (we were here for a school concert and reception), but it is a beautiful building next to some gorgeous scenery overlooking the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. Right next to the Mendota Bridge and across from Fort Snelling at Bdote. At the edge of the small...
