I have been on the search for perfect mattress for over a year. I looked in at least twelve different mattress stores. The Mattress Source had so many different options at my price range of around a maximum $400-800. They know I am a retired and I don't have a lot of extra income - I told them my situation and they respected it. They showed beds in my price range and then they showed me comparable beds for less than my top budget! I bought my bed for $600. Seriously, it's so rare to go to a store and be helped by salesmen who respect my budget to the point of finding me something more affordable. The sales staff are very friendly and not invasive at all. They delivered my bed for free!! They took away my old bed at no charge!

The business feels like a family ran business. They staff are kind and helpful. I went in looking for a mattress for my platform base. They didn't try to push me to buy the whole set or extra pillows. They just helped me find my awesome bed. The beds are made locally, and they are surprisingly affordable.

I love my bed. I have had it for a few months now and I sleep well. I got an all foam twin mattress. My sister actually recommended the Mattress Source to me. She bought three beds for herself and her grandchildren. Their beds still feel like brand new, and they got the beds about three years ago.

This weekend I purchased by third mattress from this store. The first two were for kids and I didn't put a ton of thought into it honestly. However this weekend I was replacing my mattress which I knew would be more expensive and required a little more thought. After arrival in the store and a brief discussion of what I was looking for, the manager pointed out about 6 mattresses to try. He was never pushy and gave us lots of space while providing useful information. After I settled on a mattress, he mentioned that many of the deliveries had been canceled by costumers due to impending rain. He was able to squeeze me into a tight window and I had my mattress installed within an hour from arrival at the store. They took the old mattress for recycling free of charge and free delivery because I was local. Best of all, many of these mattresses are made in Lansing. Can't beat...

After two failed attempts with a platform bed from Wayfair, I called The Mattress Source in East Lansing. I was hoping to get a box spring and frame for my son's room at State. Unfortunately, due to a shortage, they didn't have any available BUT Chris made a fantastic suggestion (even after recommending some big box stores that'd have what I initially THOUGHT I wanted). He said he just got some metal platforms in that would work. AND he offered to deliver it to my son's house!

As a small business owner myself, I truly appreciate the extra step for the customer!
