Fantastic food. You walk in and it has a bit more minimalist appeal at first. There are integrated screens in some of the tables and qr codes for others or the waiter can give you an easy to read tablet with a stand. The appetizers were really good but we didn't have any time to eat them since our food was put st the same time. I got the beef hot pot in extra spicy. I regret nothing. The people in the booth next to me probably thought I had the ronas with how hard my nose was running but everything was so good and well made. The dish was served in a flaming crate essentially with a wok ring to hold the stainless bowl above the active flame keeping your hot pot boiling until you're about half way through eating. There's no smell coming from the flames if you were wondering, everyone at the table came to the consensus that it was most likely a slow burning alcohol pad or gel maybe. The tea I ordered wasn't hot like I ordered but that was okay, it was just really good sweat tea at that point. It needed boba to complete it (and that was an option on their tablet). Awesome place. A little spendy at the end of the meal for four people but...
Read moreVery cool environment can't wait to go with friends or date night and try the full hot pot experience! This time I was by myself and just needed a quick bite after an appointment nearby. The lady that works there is super sweet and helped me navigate the menu and I told her it was to go even though I will take a few bites here I'm bringing it home for dinner. The food was done quickly and fresh I got chicken shrimp stir fry egg drop soup and crab rangoons and when she brought it out she helped pull things out of the bag for me and make myself at home just like I was dining in.. she brought me a fresh plate of rice so i had something to eat on and not have to open my take home rice. This was after the lunch hour and only me and a small group of students were doing hot pot. I never knew of this place and I hope they get good business!!! My stir fry was excellent and lasted my boyfriend and I a good 3 meals each.. about 22 bucks for all I got. The crab rangoons.. my fave food.. very tasty but small and only 4 of them:( I wish there was 6 for the price of 4.95. Anyways can't wait to...
Read moreFood was okay. My son's chicken poppers were better then the spicy beef and seafood hot pots my wife and I had; neither of us finished our dish. What was really disturbing was when it came time to collect our bill. Got in line, then paid. Only to discover I had paid another group's bill. The cashier said then I needed to pay an additional 6 dollars for the chicken poppers. I asked to see a breakdowm of what I already paid, as the receipt literally just showed the total amount with no price breakdown. She said that was impossible. But it was clear that I had already paid enough. Without a legit receipt I had no proof and there was a line to pay. So I ended up paying $43 (not including tip) for a $12 dish, $13 dish, $6 chicken poppers, $4 drink, and 2 waters.
I wouldn't go back if it was...
