Mosaic Dog Park — Attraction in Merrifield

I would not call this place a "dog park". It is teeny tiny little patch of astroturf, so small you could not park an 18-wheeler truck in there. The lack of double gate is also a huge concern for me. Took my medium size collie mix there and immediately turn around and go home upon seeing how small the place was

Great small neighborhood dog park for puppies and small/medium size dogs. People are somewhat friendly, dogs are well behaved and not aggressive/reactive, regularly stocked with bags, clean. This park was made by someone who either doesn't like or know dogs. The "grass" is hot AF, the gate does not allow for dog and owner to enter safely without letting other dogs out (I've never been to a dog park that has this type gate), and there's not enough space for dogs to run around. Wish all the planning that clearly went into the community, this "dog park"...
