Worst taget in the area, I went in to buy a toy for my nephews and asked for assistance from one of the employee. The employee who assisted me could see the item was in their inventory but did not know where they had it, so he asked a co-worker named Tim to help him look for it. Tim told me they didn't know where it was and that I needed to come back later that day to check if they had put it out or just keep checking because he was in charge of stocking them and would do so when he got to it. The first employee who was assisting me offered to take my name and info down to let me know when the item was stocked but Tim yelled at him and told him not to write anything down as it was "his" policy not to hold the items or inform customers even though I was the first customer there when the doors opened and had waited 1 hr while the first gentleman looked for the toy. Tim then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted the item so bad I would be willing to keep coming back to check if they had it. I did not feel like this I was being treated the way a customer should be treated and requested to speak to a supervisor or manager to which Tim refused to call either but somehow managed to fight the item I was looking for right after I had asked to speak to someone in charge. He didn't bother to even pretend to look for the item until that moment and it took him less than 2 mins to find it because he was hiding them in the back as apparently it is also his policy to hold on to these items(funko pops) behind the counter because they are "popular" even though this item is stock on the sales floor in other targets. I was told I could only buy 1 toy even though I have 4 nephews because the electronics department at this targets works under Tim's policies. At this point I was not sure if I was still at target anymore or at Tim's little shop, I called customer service and complained about how rude and shady Tim had been and was told this is not target's practices and they would look into...
Read moreI reserved an item online that was in stock and available for same day pick-up at the Merrifield store. I had placed this order over two hours prior and never got a notification that my order was ready for pick up. I even called multiple times, and no one answered the phone! So I went to the store to customer service and asked if I could just buy one while I was in the store, and he said that he couldn't get it for me, because it was an online order and therefore was "in the basement downstairs". Long story short, I come home and call corporate's customer service and they tell me that the store manager should've been able to pull one from inventory and given it to me while I was in the store. So, now they're asking me to drive back there again so they can cancel my online order and do for me what Freddy could've done earlier when I was in the store, which is to just let me buy one from their stock! As a busy mother to an infant, I don't have time to go back and forth and back again due to someone else's incompetence. At least answer the phone so that I can confirm things before driving out there! Even Sean at corporate couldn't get someone to answer his call when he had me on the other line waiting. I won't be wasting my time shopping here anymore for my baby items. I'll take my business to Buy Buy Baby where they know what good customer service is and where they do price matching and honor 20%off coupons. On a side note, kudos to Sean at Target corporate's customer service who helped me over the phone, and Hector who helped me via chat. As for the manager Freddy at Target Mosaic/Merrifield, shame on you for brushing off a customer instead of doing your job. You need management and customer service training and some...
Read moreI would have given negative 100 stars if I could. Worst service. Zero professionalism. In decent behavior. And staff even lacks basic humanity.
I went there with a simple request to exchange my 100$ note for two 50$. I was denied it saying that it's their policy and they can't do it which I felt was complete bullshit.
Later I bought something from them telling them I am buying something and paying with my 100$. Can you give me a 50$ bill when you hand me over the remaining change. I was denied that as well. I could see them having multiple 50$ bills but they denied me. Neither the staff or the supervisor had any idea what they were doing.
I later became furious and said that I don't want the item and hand me back over my 100$ bill. Was denied that as well. They asked me to go to customer service desk and return the product. I explained them the entire situation and instead of providing me a good service they started arguing back. I later returned the product and was carrying spare change with multiple bills and coins.
They were very rude and could not fulfill a simple request. The staff did not even feel human. I lost all hopes in humanity. I was having a good day till I met the target staff. They were so bad that I would not go to any target from now on. WORST...
