My review of: Vertuccio Farms
This was a fun experience for the whole family. When you arrive you enter a small barn to buy tickets, and there are picnic benches with kid movies playing to sit and enjoy your lunch or wait for the rest of your party to arrive. Once in, there is a large bounce house around the corner and the train ride right in front or you.
There was a giant maze made from big hay bails with a center of gigantic tractor tires to climb up on. Pedal go carts had adjustable seats and petaled smoothly around a tire lined track. A huge Pillow Jump was so fun and it was nice that a shade tent over head kept off the summer heat. And peach trees lined the sides.
There was a giant slide with 2 different slide level that even my 4yr delighted in zooming down. My older kids loved the old fashioned swingset, see-saws and there was a water pump rubber duck race track that 12 kids can play with at once. The train ride circled around a Pizza garden with a bee hive at it's center was fun to walk around. A Pizza garden has everything that would top your pizza, oregano, tomato, onion, bell pepper, pig, cow, goat. (sadly there was no active bee colony in the bee house in the center)
At the time of our visit the peaches were ripe and available for pick and pay. They were White Peaches and very succulent. We picked some for our lunch. We say many animals like, goose, baby chicks and others. It was so fun.
I loved that all the fun kid stuff was at the very front and was not a...
Read moreWe had a wonderful time at the Vertuccio Farms Pictures, Play and Sunflowers Day event! For just $10 per adult (free parking), the experience offered great value and if you have kids, a full day of fun.
The festival is incredibly family-friendly, with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained. From ping pong, a rope course and mini golf to an adorable petting zoo featuring goats, a camel, and even Scottish Highland cows, and more! There was something exciting at every turn. Almost all the activities are included in the entrance fee. To feed the goats and camel it was an additional $2, and to spend time petting the Highland Cows it was $5.
As we don't have young kids, the highlight for us was the beautiful sunflower field where visitors can pick their own flowers. For $5, you're given a small vase and can fill it with as many sunflowers as you can fit—it was fun wandering the fields and choosing a variety of different sunflowers to bring home.
Overall, Vertuccio Farms offers a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with friendly staff and plenty to do for families. We recommend it for families looking for an affordable, outdoorsy, farm...
Read moreWent to the vertuccio farm festival this past weekend. I was very excited since I did my research and wanted to make sure I could take my almost 4 year old somewhere she'd had fun . There was lots of things to do but the lines were very long which is to be expected I know , we love the train but thought the ride should have been longer considering we waited for about 45 minutes 🫠 i thought they would at least do or they need to get another train. Also the jumping pad they have was also a hit with littles although there is a sign with rules big kids ( probably 10 ans up ) and their parents ( i don't know where parents went ) were running and not being careful with littles. There were babies and toddlers playing and nobody was paying any attention to them. I'm not sure the girls that were sitting up on what seemed like a lifeguard tower thing could say anything or they were there just to hang out. Maybe get a megaphone or something to make sure big kids follow the rules. I would definitely recommend this place and probably give it another shot next year I also didn't like the pumpkins were on big boxes there wasn't any actual...
