Great concept that allows you to customize a variety of dishes in one plate, but overall it was underwhelming. Mac salad was actually good. Bbq chicken was good and on the sweeter side, then i bit into a rubbery piece and was staring at an undercooked piece of flesh. Kalua Pork was like anybody's oven-cooked version, while lacking flavor so I added some aloha shoyu which fixed that, but still missing that smoked flavor. Peluhu steak couldn't get any tougher. I didn't eat it because I couldn't even chew through it. Corn was good, but too salty to finish it all. I'm surprised they're not giving it their 150% during the first weeks of opening with superior cuts of meats and excellent cooking, then dial it down after some good reviews come in. I guess this is as good as it...

YES!!!! We used to make the drive to Ahwatukee just to get our Hawaiian food fix, so now that it’s closer, we might be in trouble! The poke is always fresh and delicious, and the mochiko chicken is unreal — you’ve got to try it. As huge fans of Dole Whip, we have to say this place ranks a solid third: Hawaii is first, Disney is second, and this spot takes a well-deserved third place (hard to compete with the other two). The spam musubi, while simple so good and tastes like home! And let’s not forget the mac salad; they do it the true Hawaiian way with potatoes, creamy and flavorful. I tried the kimchi slaw and while had potential, I am going to sick to the edamame. We look forward to getting a little aloha in our neck...

I stopped by Moku Hawaiian Grill located on Power Road and Warner for the first time today and I’m so glad I did. It must be a fairly new restaurant. The food and the service was great. I got the teriyaki chicken and teriyaki steak with brown rice and it was delicious. The first employee I encountered at the counter when I first walked in was Caleb and he was very cordial and friendly and answered any questions that I had about the menu items. He was very helpful and gave me some great suggestions on what I should order. The cashier (Izzy) was also very friendly. I highly recommend MOKU and I will be visiting them again soon. The place was very clean and the food was very fresh. That’s important to...

This was our first time visiting, and unlike the other Hawaiian barbecue chain, we typically visit, Moku did not smell of dirty mop water. It was refreshing. Being our first time we were not familiar with the menu but the worker helping us to the time to explain all the options. My wife and I shared a two meat meal and still brought some home. We had the two teriyaki chicken options, maccaroni salad and sweat corn. All the food was good and we'll be back for sure. We did not get Dole Whip on this visit but as I said, we'll be back!

It’s clear these people have perfected the thing called food. Get the mochiko chicken for an extremely good time Update: second time was phenomenal. Pulehu chicken was savory and the rice complimented the Coca Cola like no tomorrow. They also have great spicy teriyaki sauce. Man at the counter says they have the best poke outside Hawaii. Will have to hold his claim to the flame. But today is a chicken sort of day. I didn’t know google only lets you review one place one time. I will update my visit count every time. Count: 2
