My family and I stayed here during a recent trip. Although we've stayed at many other Hilton properties over the years, this was our first experience staying at a Spark hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was a better overall experience than many of the other well-established but older properties like Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, and Homewood Suites. The moment we pulled up to the hotel's front door, one of the staff came outside and greeted us with a luggage cart to load our family's belongings. Stepping inside, the hotel was fresh, clean, and appeared to be recently built. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful, assisting us in getting a first floor room near an exit since we had an early morning flight to catch. The room was surprisingly spacious, with high ceilings and lots of room for our family's luggage and clothing. Everything in the room looked brand new and worked perfectly. The desk in the room even had an extension that could be pulled out to nearly double the workspace, which we really appreciated. That night, we were able to get some of the best sleep of our trip on the new, comfortable beds in our quiet room. The next morning, we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast of coffee, fruit, muffins, and boiled eggs shortly before check out. Although, we didn't have time to try out the pool, it did look fantastic from the breakfast area. On our way to the airport, we realized that we'd left a piece of jewelry in the hotel room and called the front desk. The staff was eager to help us, and were able to locate it immediately, even offering to drive it to us.
Overall, our family was very impressed with our first stay at Spark in Mesa, and would definitely stay here again. From the friendly, attentive staff, to the clean, comfortable rooms, it was a stand-out lodging experience...
Read moreWell as far as bein a Hilton Honors member we tried this place out n by far was the worst stay we've had. The room was big enough but the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows are trash!! We asked for more pillows because they are so soft (not in a good way) they flatten out horribly! The wifi isn't great and we had a lot of trouble connecting our devices. We travel with a fire stick and couldn't connect that either. Called the front desk to ask about it all and the lil smart ass prick at the desk ( name started with a J) was blamin me n actin like I'm stupid! I worked as a tech n set stuff like this up all the time. Anyway, I go to the front desk and the girl down there had to manually put in a password for me n was apologetic. Turned out something was wrong with their system on the guest wifi router. Also found out that the firestick wont work anyway cause of some "block" they have., even though the TV even tells you how to connect your outside devices!! Idk I was pissed off n done arguin. We had to Hot spot our lap top n fire stick. If that wasn't enough, we had knock n run tweens runnin about. Again the lil prick couldn't be bothered to help. I wish I could remember his name but he's short n skinny black hair, almost bowl cut. The rooms are different too if they have a pull out couch you get a fridge if not you dont. Its not worth the price, even though we didnt pay anything the price of the rooms, you will be disappointed. We wont be stayin at Spark anywhere again. I don't recommend staying here, especially if this is how they do their members.I will post pics as soon as I find em in my phone. It's been a fews weeks since we stayed. The review thing just popped up...
Read moreGreat location.. Room was nice.. No complaints other than front desk service . We stayed at this location 2 nights .. Day before checking out Elijah called my husband and asked him if we had decided on staying another night.. He told him we would be staying another night, possibly 2 more and that he would call in morning to confirm if we would be staying a 3rd night.. Next morning before check out time my husband called front desk and talked to Elijah about staying another night.. Elijah had told him our room was gonna be taken over by another guest after we checked out at 11am and also that hotel was gonna be booked… He did offer that he could extend our check out til 12 pm instead, but no other rooms would be available… As a “Hilton Honor..” customer that is POOR CUSTOMER service especially when my husband had arranged with Elijah the day prior that he would call next morning to let him know if we were staying another night.. Elijah also could’ve called our room to check in with us just like he had the day before, INSTEAD HE TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF to give our room to another guest… Although we loved the room , housekeeping, Employees of the hotel , most were very nice…. We unfortunately will not return to this hotel for this reason alone.. Elijah could’ve done better in satisfying a “Hilton Honor..” customer before basically kicking us out… Also my husband called several hours later and spoke with someone else who confirmed hotel WAS NOT BOOKED for the night!! They had rooms available!! This is not how you do business! Elijah could’ve helped us get another room in hotel, but I guess that was too much work?...
