Revel Surf Bar & Grill at Cannon Beach — Restaurant in Gilbert

The vibes here are amazing and the staff is incredible. Great view of the surfers and the sound of the waves all right at the restaurant… but that’s where it ends and we will come back to try it again cause I think they’re still trying to figure things out since they’ve recently opened. All the food looked good but the taste was incredibly average. We had the “high tide roll” which had some of the driest carrots you could ever find. We also got the “BBQ Bacon Burger” and the Pineapple Burger… and those were good, but nothing to write home about. The staff was BUSY and walking all over the place… kind of a strange door set up for them. So the surf place is amazing, but the restaurant needs some work. We’ll be back in a few months to check out the progress they’ve made cause we really want this place...

Communication is extremely disappointing. Waited for food for over an hour. Got only have an order and left one person with no food. Plus the food was cold. After waiting ao long. When asked it is coming for the other meals it is coming there busy. Waited another 15 to 20 minutes to find out the order for the other dish it was never placed. The management staff barley addressed the situation at first we had to keep asking for a manager and never coming and to top it off the people next to us with small children never got there order and turned out to leave vs to wait. This is no way to address client and run a business. Great location finally when the manager addressed us he was great and was happy once addressed my concerns I hope he addresses with the team so this happens to...

Shout out to a group of amazing staff. Let me share a story, me and my kid came in to hang and eat, we showed up a little later in the evening, close to closing time, and it was a slow day for them so they were in the process of turning down for the night as any establishment would. I tried to order something and they said they had already shut down the equipment and were cleaning to close. The chef saw us at the bar and turned on some gear and whipped us up some food. That level of compassion melted my heart. I don't think there's a better group of people serving food in the valley. Oh and the food is always amazing. The vibe, the folks, the food, it honestly doesn't get...
