Oakland Park Kids Play Area — Attraction in Metuchen

Great neighborhood playground, but the bathrooms are often locked so not a good place to plan an extended visit. The playground is about 50% shaded at all times so the rubber surface never gets too hot and there is lots of shaded seating around the edges. The equipment is in good shape and the rocking dinosaur was a hit. Bummed about the bathrooms - we went midday on a weekend and no luck. Not a good place for extended mommy meetups.

Other than that the park seems mostly geared towards little league baseball/softball but was well groomed and had little trash. The trains were quieter than I expected considering...

Atmosphere good,clean green air, put fence near rail track,keep human safe mostly children,in winter time cover kids play area and summer time open air,and also if you can’t put small shop less price provide water bottle and also fix night light. Provide more entertainment equipment...
