Place in the park is such an amazing wonderful experience with talented actors and actresses and always a beautiful bands that plays. Last night's production was The Addams Family. It was a musical and comedy and it was wonderful and funny it's kind of a dark humor kind of show for anybody who has not seen The Addams Family on TV the theme of this production was Family Values and love and Trust and honesty and lies that could he brought into a family & how they deal with it in an Addams Family way which makes it very humorous. I loved it I would highly recommend it it's the best value you're going to get for your money senior tickets are $5 and general admission is $7 you have to bring chairs and bug spray and you can bring food to eat there or they sell food there. There's parking and there's also handicapped seats that can be arranged prior to the events that are available if you call. If there were heavy rains the night before or two you will be asked to park at a parking lot that is very very far away from the event so plan to go a different day if it just rained. If it didn't rain you can park right next to the venue because you park on the grass and if it rains the grass is too wet and the car is soaked in to the ground so you can't park in there on...

Fantastic shows in a great outdoor theater. Think Paper Mill Playhouse or NJPAC but tickets are only $8 and you can bring in your own snacks. Oh and it’s outdoors so things like Covid, flu, and RSV aren’t a concern.

Here’s what you need to know.

  1. bring your own TALL chair. Those low seater beach chairs are comfy but you won’t be able to see over folks who are sitting in more upright chairs.

  2. weeknight shows are less crowded and you can spread out in the upper corners of the seating if you don’t want to pack in in the center

  3. snacks including popcorn, ice cream, funnel cakes, hot dogs, cotton candy, pretzels, and drinks are for sale through intermission. You can also bring your own snacks and drinks

  4. parking is free in a large grass lot next to the theater. Just remember where you parked because it’s not well lit after a show.

  5. enjoy the show. These are some fantastic productions that are essentially free compared...

I've been going to Plays in the Park for over 5 summers now, and I absolutely love going. I've seen My Fair Lady, Les Miserables, Shrek the Musical, South Pacific, West Side Story, Mamma Mia, Evita and Newsies. Tickets are $7 for adults (kids 13 and over) and free for kids. Don't remember how much senior citizen tickets cost, but they are cheaper than adults. I love going to Plays in the Park, because it's alot cheaper than Broadway, but you still get such an amazing production. Some of my old dance friends have been in the musicals , and I love going to watch them. Bathrooms and concessions can get a bit crowded during intermission, so make sure you get up there fast. You need to bring your own chairs, so I'd recommend getting there early to get a good spot. Shows start at 8pm. I totally recommend going if you get the chance. You surely will not regret it! I can't wait to see what shows there will be in...

We saw Grease 8/2/25 and it was AMAZING! Staff was super helpful, patient, and friendly. Such a simple idea....bring a chair to watch a play and wait to be blown away. Seating was well managed, and truly there was not a bad seat. Sound and lighting was very professional. There was good food. The bathrooms were clean.I was beyond impressed and look forward to future plays.

Beautifully crafted, this play is a fantastic production that will leave you mesmerized! The singing was sublime, with powerful vocals that brought the characters to life. The orchestra added a rich, emotive layer to the performance, perfectly complementing the on-stage action. A truly unforgettable experience!
