The only positive I can come up with is that the view from the room was beautiful. The lobby is nice looking, but there are only stairs to get your luggage from the dropoff area to get up 2 flights to the lobby; it's just insane to have hundreds of pounds of luggage and having to drag them up stairs one at a time. I've never seen anything like it. I have no idea how a person in a wheelchair would get in the building. It's crazy. Valet parking is insane, you can't park your own vehicle and the wait to get parked can be upwards of 45 minutes. The room I was in was...almost empty? 2 beds, a 12 dollar target lamp. A cheap painting on one wall. Cheap white flat paint on top of scraped walls. It felt like a Motel 6 in quality. I take that back, motel 6s usually have more artwork on the walls. The place looks like it has been used and abused and not maintained well, with cheap and easily replaced items. The hinges on the bathroom door were rusted to the point the door barely closed. The hot water in the shower cycles back and forth between freezing and boiling. Its not pleasant. The view out the window is beautiful though...

I stayed at Castle Beach Condos and had a decent experience overall. The location is fantastic—right on the beach with direct access, which makes it perfect for enjoying the ocean without needing to drive anywhere. The building itself is older, and some of the units could use a little updating, but it really depends on which condo you rent since they're individually owned. The pool area and beach bar were nice perks, and the on-site market was super convenient for grabbing snacks or drinks. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day, and the elevators are sometimes slow, but nothing that ruined the stay. If you're looking for a budget-friendly spot on the beach with basic amenities and don’t mind an older property, Castle Beach Condos is a solid choice.

By far one of the worst places I've stayed. The hotel lobby tricks you into thinking nice hotel. But its all an illusion. Hotel security, is extremely unhelpful, and only "just works here". The elevators are slow and complicated. And that's just the start of what's to come. The rooms are very run down, with peeling paint everywhere. Very cheap furniture from IKEA, wall outlets exposed or don't work, and then its the bathroom. Mildew, peeling paint, toilet that ran all night , toilet paper that melts on your buttons, and no type of clean towels. Avoid this place like the Plague. Not worth it at ALL!!! Only positive was I was on the 17th floor, and the view of the beach was very nice. Even then, I should've just slept on the beach.

Wow. We were nervous going into our experience because of all the negative reviews on here, but seriously, come on people! What are you really expecting with an aged beach condominium with hundreds of rooms? So many entitled people here who think an affordable stay automatically means an elite four star luxury experience.

Look, bring cash, and parking your own vehicle or a rental vehicle is inadvisable. We Uber'd to and from the airport. It's a self-contained resort. Access to the beach, pool deck, a lobby cafe and lower lobby surf shop and cafe/quick mart. There's a laundry room and lots of vending machines. The staff are decent. Speaking Spanish is a plus. Sure, the Gusanos running the cafe in the basement are rude and condescending, but have you ever met Gusanos who weren't rude and condescending? The restaurant is okay, but expensive. Good Breakfast though, and they charge extra for using a credit card. So again, bring cash. There's a nicer Cuban restaurant two blocks north in another Apartment building. Our three year old daughter loved the stay. The Room was very nice with a scenic overlook of the beach. No pests, leaks, or bad smells. Plumbing was fine. Water didn't get too hot but warm enough. Again, be kind to this aging building. The poor elevators are real pain, but it's really when there are too many people trying to use them at once. Avoid check-in and check-out time. We've stayed in many many places like this at many different beaches. It's perfectly fine. Apart for the folks with bad valet experience, the negative reviews are coming from spoiled, entitled brats who spend too much time on...

TLDR; Please AVOID this hotel/condo/Airbnb!

I'm writing this review while waiting 20+ mins for the elevator, which would never come. The system is old and broken and repeatedly fails to function since the first day we arrived. If you need to catch a flight please plan ahead and allow for at least 30 mins for elevator if you unfortunately chosed this hotel. 😅

When I finally walked downstairs from 9th floor with all my luggage, sweating, and reminded the front desk the elevator is broken, I was told "only" one of the four elevators was broken, leaving the elevator working at 75% capacity, which implied you only need to wait 15 mins when it's at full capacity and the building is ok with that! I asked do they plan to repair it. And the lady said "Didn't you hear that I'm waiting for Xxxxx!"

Besides her, all other front desk folks are consistently rude and unprofessional as well, and incapable of anything, apparently hired and trained by the same manager who should be fired at scene. It had taken us 1 hour to check in, even at midnight. The root cause was that the printer stopped working. I m not joking 😃. The check-in system of this entire building depends on a printer.

Parking is valet only. Ave waiting time of handing in and retrieving your car is 15+ mins each, because garage is always full. The valet team is super nice btw, gem of...

We booked through Girasole on Airbnb and it was HORRIBLE. We paid $500 for 3 days and it was not worth it. Upon arrival, the valet took forever to get us settled but they were very nice. The floor our room was on had a very muggy, mildew like smell. Walking in, the ceiling was leaking water which left a puddle in the middle of the floor. The light in the bathroom would not switch on despite pressing the outlet reset. We attempted to warm up our food to only discover NONE OF THE OUTLETS WORKED . Therefore we were left hungry without any resources. We informed him and his response was “did we plug it into the outlet correctly”? How does someone not know how to plug in a microwave ?The refrigerator had a sour stench inside. We were given only 3 towels each and told they are not a hotel and do not provide anything extra. After reaching out to Airbnb, he tells them that everything is a lie and it’s something else. He did not come to see the room to know what was going on. He kept responding “it’s very unusual” to every response we sent. He said his staff checked and everything was working fine. Clearly that is a LIE! DO NOT BOOK HERE THE PICTURES ARE DECEIVING!! Broken cabinet doors, cheap furniture and an overall muggy atmosphere. Extremely unsatisfied and will get my lawyer involved immediately if this...
