A delightful dining experience at Bernie’s My husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversary at Bernie’s today, March 16th, and it was truly a night to remember. Despite our reservation for 6:30 pm, we arrived earlier due to the city's curfew on Miami Beach. The team graciously accommodated our request, setting a positive tone for the evening from the start. From the moment we walked in, we were met with warmth and professionalism. The impeccable service and the friendly staff made us feel right at home, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Now, onto the food—it was nothing short of exquisite. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs at Bernie’s. Opting to sit outside was a fantastic choice; we felt wonderful surrounded by the beautiful ambiance. From the delectable cuisine to the charming atmosphere, every aspect of our visit surpassed our expectations. Thank you, Bernie’s team, for making our anniversary dinner truly unforgettable. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to indulge in more culinary delights and soak in the delightful atmosphere you provide.

We went to Cafe Bernie for Taco Tuesday and for the sun set. We should have stayed home instead with the weather as crazy, windy, and rainy as it was. The food was cold and overpriced. Three tacos for $18 / $19 $20. I heard the food was good here. It just disappointed for the tacos. They were bland. Nothing stood out about them. We also tried the beans and rice.. both were cold, too. We had the tropical margaritas for $8 as part of their taco Tuesday offerings. I don't think Miami knows how to make a good margarita. This was the 2nd one that was a not great. Service was just ok. The attendee was friendly, but not really engaging while we were there, and the place was practically empty. The ambience was nice. We didn't make it outside for the sunset due to the weather. It felt like we were in little Havana with the decor and music. I liked that.

Came for the crab cakes, stayed for the fries! You would think by virtue of the name alone, that Miami Beach would have an over abundance of waterfront eateries. But in reality, waterfront property is so valuable, that there are only a handful of truly waterfront restaurants. But lucky for us, Cafe Bernie made their debut last night. Strategically situated between the gardens and Intracoastal waterway outside the 5600 Condominium, this new cafe offers views from all angles. They just opened, so we haven't had the opportunity to try everything, but last night everyone raved about their entrees. Tip: if you are a connoisseur of french fries, no matter what you order, be sure to get a side of Bernie's hand cut fries.

*During our recent trip to Miami Beach, we stumbled upon Bernie Cafe and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. Tucked away in a lively part of the city, this charming cafe offered us a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle.

As soon as we walked in, we were captivated by the cozy atmosphere. The decor is a delightful mix of rustic charm and modern touches. We chose to sit outside, where the inviting seating area allowed us to enjoy the ocean breeze and indulge in some people-watching. Inside, the cafe exudes warmth with its soft lighting and comfortable chairs, creating an ideal spot for both relaxation and conversation.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their friendliness and attentiveness stood out; they greeted us with genuine smiles and were quick to accommodate our needs. Even though it was our first visit, we felt like regulars, thanks to their exceptional hospitality.

The menu at Bernie Cafe is a fantastic mix of classic favorites and creative dishes. For breakfast, we tried the avocado toast and the fluffy pancakes – both were absolutely delicious. Lunchtime brought us fresh salads and hearty sandwiches that were equally impressive. As coffee enthusiasts, we were thrilled with the variety of brews available. The coffee was superb, and we couldn’t resist trying a couple of their freshly baked pastries; the croissants were simply divine!

Our experience at Bernie Cafe was nothing short of wonderful. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a standout during our trip. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Miami Beach, we highly recommend making a stop at Bernie Cafe. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a...
