Temple Moses Sephardic Congregation of Florida — Attraction in Miami Beach

Temple Moses is the ONLY Sephardic congregation in Miami Beach founded by Turkish Jews who emigrated to Cuba in the 1920's and who then were exiled from Cuba starting in 1959. The services are beautiful, the ball room is gorgeous to rent for events, and the Rabbi and members are always warm and welcoming. My parents are founding members of Temple Moses, which was built in 1979, and I am proud to say I grew up going to TM. My fellow Turkish Jewban friends that grew up going to TM like me are my TM Family. My mom served as President of the Women's Committee from 1988-1990. Beautiful and mildly ornate hall. I have been to graduation ceremonies and to school gala dinners in this lovely hall. The Temple itself is very pretty as well, with comfortable seating and an imposing stage. The lighting is a bit off putting for photos because it casts blue tinges on the faces, but the place cleans up really nicely, and the reception hall can be fixed up in different ways to explore varied themes.
