The food is great and the place is very cute, but the service is terrible. I've been going there for 3 years, and after the latest 2 encounters with the waitress manager and owner, but principle I will not go back again. In the past, I've had to wait 15 min before someone took my order, nearly impossible to get the attention from servers if I needed water, and the food took a long time to come. A few weeks ago, I ordered a side dish of eggs perico along with a croissant, which is clearly written in the menu as $1.50 extra, but they charged $5 for the eggs. I was told by the waitress that the lower price only goes with a main breakfast plate and not anything else, so I paid the higher price. This time, I ordered a main breakfast plate with egg perico. I was surprised that the eggs were again charged for $5. Instead of apologizing for not bringing up the price difference when I pointed the "your choice of egg perico $1.50" while ordering, the waitress manager proceeded to argue with me that the menu price only comes with the FIRST breakfast plate. She was very annoyed and had a bad attitude as if I couldn't afford the extra $4. I said you guys should make it clearer because another customer could also be unpleasantly surprised, but she went on and on about how they told me before while my baby cried. I felt so humiliated. I told the owner that it's not fair for customers to get a higher bill when the menu says a lower price for that item. She said that I needed to check with the server next time and that they had been losing a lot of money recently due to price surge. I completely understand, but I think it's the job of the server to tell customers the right price during their order, or they should change the menu. Had they been upfront, I would be happy to pay the higher price or order something else. Seems like this restaurant's value is based on arrogance instead of transparency, and I'm not good enough for them. From now on, I will gladly go next door to the cuban restaurant where everyone is super friendly instead of rude!

This small Venezuelan restaurant exudes loungy vibes, it was super elegance with a homely charm that was really welcoming despite my families embarrassing jokes. I came with my father and sisters to celebrate my late mother’s birthday and we were enchanted by the warm ambiance of the spot service from our waitress, her name was Litzy—whose hospitality rivaled that of high-end establishments in Collins— very hospitality, showing genuine care and as attentiveness as anyone working in the industry should be. She genuinely looks like she enjoys her job too, such great service. The food was nothing short of amazing, coming out of the kitchen with impeccable timing. My sister and I savored the picanha steak, each paired with distinct sides that complemented our main entree. My sister had the hibiscus tea , super refreshing she let me try some. The tequenos we shared were a delightful highlight, some authentic Venezuelan food here, we ordered them little things twice! My father loved his burger, as well as his cappuccino after. I may drop in and get that next time I’m here , which is a guarantee. Everything about this spot was great , blending Venezuelan tradition with refined execution, I’m definitely coming back and not just because I live in the area, but why haven’t I heard of this gem before? I pass by every day and I’m glad so glad we finally sat and enjoyed the scene, the service and the food. Chevere ! peep the videos. I put those extra fries in the tequeno bowl by the way.

My wife and I moved to North Beach just this year and have had the privilege of trying out our fair share of local restaurants and in and around the north beach area. Today we tried 7tyone and it was the best breakfast from a restaurant that we have experienced yet. It was one of the most exciting breakfast meals from a restaurant we have had in a long time. We both ordered the Venezuelan breakfast along with an iced latte. I also ordered a mocha frappucino after staring one down being enjoyed by other guests sitting nearby. I was hoping for something nice but I didn't realize we had ordered something that would give you feelings of home and tasted like it was made by a loving grandmother. If you have taste at all, stop by 7tyone, you will not be disappointed. We will be returning here in the near future thankful for the opportunity to eat here again soon. Update: (1 Year Later) It’s been a year since my initial review of 7tyone and we are back a year later with nothing but more compliments and praise of how amazing this place is. Today we ordered a guava and cheese croissant as well as the Venezuelan Breakfast. We also had a latte. :) The love with which they make their food and even their coffee is evident from the very first thing you try. In the past year my wife and I have had the opportunity to try many cafe’s throughout Miami but we come back to 7tyone because it’s the best. Come and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

I brought a good friend of mine to Thai place so she could enjoy the amazing food that this restaurant plus the great customer That I have always received. Unfortunately this time it was a AWFUL SERVICE, given by the server Lucas. I haven’t been in a while and I have never seen him. I remember I very nice girl and a kid in the past, but my friend and I were appalled by the way that we were treated by Lucas.

When we walk in for lunch time it seems that Lucas had a hectic morning but it’s k, we asked him where we could sit and he just answered probably wanting to say “wherever the f.. u want, do t u see all the available tables?” But he contain and said very frustrated “wherever you want” we sat and we started looking at menu. As far as I remember, On the menu never said that juices were only for breakfast time, I am on a specific diet do to a surgical procedure so I asked for green juice, he said they only serve it in the morning because then all produce will go bad if they order more and people might not buy green juice all day 😳, k, then I asked for another juice and they were out of it. That’s fine, they I think I asked for papaya, he said “sure”. I also a salad and my friend order some food to nibble on. He comes back after a while And says that there is no papaya juice. Really? I was disappointed but just let it go, at this time my food hasn’t arrived but my friends did, she was still Waiting for some yuca frita. I asked Lucas to please cancel my order. I was upset about not being able to have my juice. Lucas said that he couldn’t cancel my order and I asked to do it because I was not gonna it and they we’re not able to grant any of my juices. Lucas cancels my salad and the yuca, I asked why and he went off on me, Lucas literally started screaming in that confined place in Front of the other customers that he cancelled everything because I was going to waste food and he would have to pay for my salad. He kept going and going, screaming that I cancelled my salad. Manager comes in, which he should of come in Earlier and apologized. At no point I’m asking for free food, my friend was very upset about Lucas behavior. I really don’t care about the rest of the customers and the way Lucas treated us but if that’s the way the he treats the customers I don’t think he should be anywhere near a guest. Lucas is posted on Ig as a fabulous server, I completely Defer on that. I could’ve called the police, he really went overboard the hole situation. I’ve been trying for weeks to speak personally with the owner of this establishment but haven’t been able to contact him. Please check the cameras if necessary. I’m sure the manager remembers the incident. I have no plans to go back there while Lucas is part...
