Read moreI recently visited Alice Wainwright Park with my family and was honestly disappointed. The playground has no tent or shade, which makes it extremely uncomfortable and even dangerous for kids to play under the strong Miami sun. The grass was overgrown, the park wasn’t clean, and it felt neglected.
Even worse, there were homeless individuals clearly struggling with mental health issues inside the park, which made the place feel unsafe—especially when you’re there with children. There’s also a building or office structure on-site that looks abandoned: unpainted, in poor condition, and really adds to the feeling of abandonment.
The sad part is that the view from the park is absolutely beautiful, and it could be such a nice place for families. It’s really a shame that such a great location is being so poorly maintained and lacks proper...
