This is the first negative review ever I write but after all that I have been through, I feel that I just have to share my horrible experience and journey over the past weeks. I have been a loyal customer of brickell cosmetic center for more that 2yrs now. Prior the Christmas I scheduled an appointment for a “fresh up” injection for volume loss in my mid face. Upon arrival I was notified that the former aesthetician is no longer with the company and that the procedure would be performed by someone else, which was totally fine for me since I am in general not sensitive to things like that. However, I already had (also for the first time ever) a bad gut feeling when the new aesthetician recommended to add extra filler on top of my cheeks bones that were already quite prominent in order to lift my mid face. Well, I trusted the guidance of the aesthetician and the owner and let it happen. A few days after the injection the nightmare started when dark circles underneath my eyes occurred out of nowhere, next to very high cheekbones that looked super artificial. I never had undereye filler done and never felt a need for it prior to the injection. While I was still hoping that this is just swelling that will go away, co workers and family members started asking if I am ok because I „would look so tired“.I got concerned. Over Christmas I went to dinner with a friend of mine in Europe working in aesthetics. even without asking her for consultation she immediately told me that I am having an issue with misplaced filler and that this very likely needs to be dissolved. I got even more concerned. A bit more that a week ago I have shared my concerns with the owner of brickell cosmetic center. She asked me to come in since she would like to see the issue in person. I have spent an hour at the studio with me and her reviewing the before and after pictures and we both agreed that the issue is clearly noticeable. In all fairness I need to add that she offered me to dissolve the filler. I believe everyone reading this might understand that I was deeply traumatised by the work done before and was asking whether the injection can be done by another aesthetician at brickell cosmetic center. She denied since there is none. Following this i politely asked whether I could at least get a refund, partially compensating the costs for dissolving it and adding the new filler correctly by something else (which is twice the price). She told me that she would need to check this internally. I was promised a call back. This is now 5 days ago. The call back never happened, i have made 2 additional attempts to reach her. as per her front office, she is „unavailable“.

In my entire life I have never been treated like this before. Ever. I am traumatised by the way they made me look, but also by how I am getting treated as a loyal customer. Even more saddening is that this place apparently doesn’t understand that every patient leaving the center is representing the their work. A company’s business card so to say. As an owner, I would be overly embarrassed and do whatever is needed to fix the situation. Also to secure the client.

The misplace filler meanwhile got dissolved by a Dr., who did an incredible job in fixing the mess. The picture documentation and correspondence is meanwhile with my lawyer.

Zero stars if I could and a clearly...

I have been coming here for years and sad to not be able to come back because I moved to Gainesville, Florida. I was coming here when they were renting out the first floor of a older woman's home that had maybe 4 parking spots; we all have to start somewhere! Now they upgraded to this gorgeous office location and I am happy to have watched these ladies grow the business. Julie really takes care of you if you are lucky to get on her services, I've noticed I get great facial results with her every time. I have done Hair PRP, most of their Facials, Emsculpt, Vitamin Therapy, Velashape, Laser Hair Removal, Skin Lightening Peels, Back Peels, and Sculptra here. I have always been satisfied with my results and when you do these treatments, its best to do them when you have a few days you can stay home for your first time doing it; everyone reacts differently. Please do what they recommend especially if the treatment is "uncomfortable" aka hurts like hell, but its going to be worth it and the best results will come if you follow their instructions to the word; trust me. Example is their Velashape appointments, you need to take 2 Tylenol(HAS TO BE TYLENOL) 30minutes before your appointment and drink a disrespectful amount of water the day before and most importantly, drink even more right after the appointment for 4 days straight. They will tell you all of this and your results will night and day. I lost 7lbs off 1 session from this because I followed their instructions hardcore.. Dr. Lauren Dozier did my Hair PRP 3 times and my Scultpra. I love my results and my hair at my hips now! I also take the hair pills and the hair growth shampoo & spray they sell there to keep my results.
