Title: Life-Saving Care When I Needed It Most
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care I received at the Mercy emergency room during a recent medical emergency. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt like I was in safe and capable hands.
The staff at this emergency room deserves special recognition. They were not only professional but also incredibly compassionate and attentive. The doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to assess my condition, provide immediate treatment, and keep me informed throughout the process. Their expertise and dedication were truly reassuring during a challenging time.
The facility itself was clean and well-organized, which added to the overall sense of professionalism and efficiency. I was also pleasantly surprised by the minimal wait time, especially considering the volume of patients they were attending to.
Additionally, the communication between the medical team and myself was outstanding. They took the time to explain my diagnosis and treatment options in a way that I could understand, alleviating any anxiety I had.
In what was undoubtedly one of the most stressful moments of my life, Mercy turned a frightening experience into one marked by compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to saving lives. I can't thank them enough for their dedication and expertise. I wholeheartedly recommend this emergency room to anyone in need of urgent medical care.

Read moreTerrible experience, at first I did not understand why the doctor was so unworried and cold to my condition. The ER was practically empty, no crowds of sick people so I figured I'm in at the right time. But as soon as the doctor came in my room I started wondering why no tests of any kind were done or even suggested and why the doctor just politely said go ahead and see you doctor. Then I've realized that my driver's license is from Arizona, but they don't know that I am a Florida resident and I do have health insurance for the state of Florida. Things cleared up fast, I am assuming that hospitals are told that tourist don't have insurance, that they will never most likely pay the bill, so the best option is to admit patient under federal law of ER operations but to serve as little as possible. Even known I do disagree with this practice, they never asked me for health insurance information and on my way out I've asked, if they need that info. After that I was redirected to an small office where two guys were working and I've provided them with my insurance info. But then that was too late to get the help that I needed. So, I went back home with shortness of breath, insane cough and waited to see my primary doctor here in Miami. I'm not sure why money has more value that human health or well-being, but I guess those are the times we live...

Dear Mercy Hospital,
I’m writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding an issue that occurred after my recent visit to your facility. Due to a deeply upsetting experience (which I’ve already submitted a complaint about) I left the hospital abruptly and unintentionally left behind a few personal items: a hairdryer, a brush & a under garment. When I returned shortly afterward to retrieve them, I was told they had already been thrown away. I find it unacceptable that my belongings were discarded so quickly, without any attempt to contact me or hold them for a reasonable amount of time. These were personal items, and under the circumstances of my departure, I would have expected more consideration. To make matters worse, after my first complaint, I was given a phone number to call for follow-up, but no one answers it. That alone speaks volumes about how little care and accountability your hospital shows to its patients. I’m requesting both a formal apology and reimbursement or replacement of the items that were lost. I hope Mercy Hospital takes this matter seriously and treats patients and their property with more care moving forward.
I look forward to your...
