The Stables Casino — Attraction in Miami

My first time the I didn’t even get past the employee to sign up to even play. My wife and I arrived around 2am. So there was no expectation as it was late and lightly staffed. We looked for someone to help us get signed in so we could play and a worker there went to go find the person that is usually behind the gate to help customers. He said she was probably on break. So we decided is wasn’t a big deal and we would just come back tomorrow. He insisted on helping so we obliged. Once he found said worker is when is was down hill for us. She came in with the biggest agitation on her face like we was the last people she wanted to see. She proceeded to sit down looked at my wife and I and before we could even get a word out of our mouth she threw her hands in the air to gesture what did we want. So I politely just told her nevermind we would come back another day. She looked at us with disgust and walked off. So I know everyone has their bad days so we will definitely give them another chance but I would say don’t check in as a first timer at 2am at night. You might not get the best...

I have never really enjoyed going to casinos as a recreational activity and only recently, the past 3 months, have i ever really spent any money at a casino. But the past three months I have went to a casino almost every other day! Sometimes multiple times a day to the same casino and often I go to more than one casino a day. So I can honestly say I have a good perspective and knowledge I'm talking about when I say Stables Casino is ruint from having too many beggars! It is actually the ONLY casino I have ever been to where people begged for money in the casino while I was there. And I had 3 4 or maybe even 5 different people come up to me asking or demanding money, some getting angry and threatening when I said no and would not give them money! I swear security told me they knew about a couple of the people already as beggars and have had complaints on them before me. What! So why are they allowed to scan the floor unchecked to harass people for money!? No other casino were these particular people at probably because they were banned already...

Not the fanciest of casinos. Pretty minimal on the inside. I've stopped here a couple times while passing through Miami on my way up I-44.

On my last trip I decided to try the snack bar. A minimal selection, and average prices. I ordered the sampler that is your choice of 3 items from the appetizer menu. I had the mini corn dogs, fried mushrooms, and onion rings. They were out of the Jalapenos, and the mac-n-cheese bites.

The wait for the food wasn't too bad. I sat down at a nearby slot machine while waiting. Was probably about 10 minutes to get my food. The order was a good amount of food for $6.50, but everything being fried and some items a little greasy or overcooked, it wasn't the best choice for a meal while traveling down the road on an empty stomach.

I've visited the other nearby casino's and prefer the others to this one. I haven't had any better luck as far as the gaming goes, but have enjoyed some good meals at the other casinos.
