I'm not sure what to think of them. I was excited to buy local farm fruits & vegetables. The strawberries were great. I'm not sure where the watermeon was from, but it was good. The corn didn't keep very well, & I must've cooked it wrong. It wasn't spectacular. I had better from Aldis.
The peaches said they were from South Carolina, & they WERE TERRIBLE!! I want to return them, but I've had em for 2 wks now, & I only get out by this stand on Fridays. They were raw. Like under-ripened. Picked too soon. I tried ripening them in the window & ended up having to put them in the fridge. They never ripened. The tops of them taste sweet like they should, but the main of it is so bland & so boring. I bit into one & the pit had cracked open & came loose into my bite. I swallowed it before I looked down & realized what had crunched. That part is poisonous! These were TERRIBLE PEACHES! All I can say is that I hope they don't buy peaches from those people in S. Carolina again, & I probably won't be spending 1/8 of my paycheck there...
Read moreThe produce, the staff the price. Not sure where to start. This Gem in Middleburg heights is exactly that a gem! A hidden treasure so to speak, I went for a simple trip for only sweet corn, and ended up leaving with tomatoes, onions and corn. The service is great and everyone was super friendly. I went around 4:30-5 so not too busy. The parking is fairly odd but given it’s on a main road they definitely make it work with the parking on the back and the side. Their sweet corn ( would include photos but it’s gone already) was the best corn on the cob I have had since I was a teen! I will be back for more to freeze in preparation for winter. And the tomatoes sooooo good! And the large ones are definitely that! Cannot wait to go back and grab more...
Read moreLove this little farm stand! What a gem to have fresh fruit and veg so close to home :) Everything I’ve gotten from here has always been wonderful along with the service. The employees can give knowledge about the produce they are selling and what items taste like. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and it’s very good energy to be around. The produce is way better tasting than store bought- they always have a changing variety and I’ve seen items here that I don’t see anywhere else- like donut peaches (wow, so yummy!) sugar baby watermelons, multicolored grape tomatoes, Concord grapes, the list goes on. The items do change as the season goes on, but that’s what makes it great- so fun to...
