Best little spot in town for local fresh produce and fruit! Located on Tindall road among residential homes and schools is the farm stand for McCormack Farms. They open from 1 to 6 except Sundays and have a rotating variety of what is seasonal to the area that they grow. I just about given up growing my own vegetable patch because critters keep eating everything I grow so I just head over to McCormack's now, easier and a lot more cost efficient than me just growing food for critters.
They take both cash and card (over $12 I believe) and are just the nicest folks...the produce is beautiful and fresh, and sometimes they have some nice surprises like shishito peppers and cantaloupes which are sweet and fragrant! Start of the season are strawberries, asparagus, spinach and lettuces from what I remember. Peak season are corn, tomatoes of all types, peppers, eggplants, Swiss chard, greens, watermelon, garlic, berries, onions and more. They wind down the season with pumpkins and squash I think.

They have the best sweet potatoes ever !!! And some amazing Cherokee purple tomatoes (deep red and delicious)... everything we had was perfect.
