Sandy Hook Visitor Center — Attraction in Middletown Township

Informative visitor's center. Spacious restrooms. Ample parking. Two informative movies. Nice displays. Gorgeous Lighthouse but not for those with a fear of heights! Narrow spiral staircase and narrow ladder up to the top. But my adventurous crew loved it! Abandoned military base and trails that are fun to walk around. Pebbly Beach that you can spend the day on. Pavilions and lots of picnic tables! Not seeing very many trash...

This light house is neat its located at sandy hook park and has a gift shop and museum on first level. Theres a tour that takes you up the tower and it is a little difficult to get to the light part because of a ladder but when you make it up the view shows nyc and long island. The grounds has a movie you can watch the history of the lighthouse. Plenty of parking and restrooms inside...
