I've been to the Midland Best Buy 8+ times recently. From my experience, if you go into the store knowing exactly what you need and don't appear to need help, three or four employees will ask if you need assistance. However, if you need help and try to get an employee's attention—with eye contact or by walking toward them—it seems like almost every employee on the floor will look away or walk the other way before you can reach them. It truly seems like most employees try to help the people they think will require the least amount of work. And if you look like you have too many questions and need help, you'll probably be avoided. There are one or two knowledgeable and helpful employees who work in the computer area. One of whom said he works for Intel and goes from store to store in the area, so he is probably not in Midland very often,but I'm not sure. --‐---------- UPDATE ------------ The employees, management, customer service – everything has improved since my last review! I've shopped here multiple times recently, and everyone was so helpful. The atmosphere was much more positive too. I would definitely recommend this place! It's great to see businesses improving. 👍

Before I was helped, Cruz kept checking on me a couple of times while assisting another customer, running back and forth to get products. Cruz radioed each time to let someone know I needed help. During that time, I saw Cruz radio an associate, and Chris Q. looked at me, made eye contact, and quickly turned around, walking to the front purposefully. Five minutes later, still needing help, I saw Chris Q. come to the front area again. I made eye contact with him and waved, but he completely ignored me. Chris Q. even pulled out his phone and started laughing with another coworker. I was very upset, but finally, an associate named Jonathen came and was incredibly kind and patient. Jonathen helped me a lot and connected me with his manager, Jeese, who helped with a complaint. Jeese apologized, provided the associate's name, and gave me the management email to report the issue, stating this was not how they do business. Overall, Jonathen, Cruz and Jeese were superstars and helped me a lot despite the upsetting experience with Chris Q.

Phone Customer service Great at Store is decent but THINK TWICE FOR DELIVERY!! My wife bought a dishwasher before thanksgiving we got it yesterday after 2 Saturdays appointments we finally got it yesterday Friday and today again they came by mistake so maybe better communication and better attitude at the deliveries would help a lot we ALL WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY AND TIME! Thank you! That’s it! Thank you Josh my wife is taking care of the issue already but I appreciate your answer! She has a ticket number and about the deliveries it was scheduled 2 times both Saturdays finally we got it Friday! Stay safe! Merry Xmas 🎄 and I understand the busy season !

My wife bought a dishwasher before thanksgiving we got it yesterday after 2 Saturdays appointments we finally got it yesterday Friday and today again they came by mistake so maybe better communication and better attitude at the deliveries would help a lot we ALL WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY AND TIME! Thank you! That’s it! Thank you Josh my wife is taking care of the issue already but I appreciate your answer! I am not sure what to do at this point. I bought a fridge that was delivered to my apartment on September 9th. The dudes that brought it into my apartment brought it to the third floor. Banging it up every step on the dolly. They put it in and plugged it in and everything seemed fine. I go downstairs for a bit and come up and it looks like from the thrashing it had going up the stairs they dented it but also dented the little mechanism that alerts the fridge to beep if the door is open. I cant use it or it will just beep. Now the door is really hard to open like its locked even though its not. That same day I went to chat and they said there was nothing they can do. I go to the store and was referred to the best buy geek squad manager. He said there was nothing they could do but they would call some sort of manager at the guest experience team. We wait there while they figure out what to do and speak to this guy that gives us a call. I ask him if it can be repaired and he says yes and the technician would come out September 13th(yesterday). No one shows up. No one calls. Today I go to the store. Little dude manager at geek squad avoids me and the gentleman who works in computers and does cashier(great customer service) tells me that they gave him a card for me to call customer service. I guess he couldn't gas light me himself so he sent the regular guy to give me the generic phone number. I ask for a supervisor again and finally some guy comes and tells me theres nothing they can do in the store. He liked to subtly karate chop my shoulder while he was telling me he couldn't do anything about the $600 paperweight in my apartment. He tells me to call the generic help line. I ask him if I call and they cant do anything what will happen. He's like "they have to 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️ idk". So I ask if they are open today and he says yeah 24/7. Im here in the parking lot of the best buy. I called and they are closed. I called again through a call back from sales on the website. I asked for a supervisor and they told me they dont know how to transfer me but they can rearrange for a exchange. Not sure because I could hardly understand him. I guess this is how they treat their customers. Im thinking about returning it and buying a fridge at Walmart or something. Big shout out to JONAH. They need to kick out that little dude in geek squad and promote Jonah to manager. He has Jonah go and deal with his problems anyway. Jonah was knowledgeable and patient. Hire more like him.

UPDATE: talked to their guest service team. Rep said that they dont even do repairs like the manager said, and was "meh" about the entire thing. Be careful buying an appliance from these guys if you do not live on the first floor. They will screw it up and then gaslight you when you have questions and say " Theres...

I have to start off with that Best Buy has the best warranty hands down, with that being said the following is absolutely ridiculous. We purchase every electronic in our entire house from Best Buy and have never had an issue with exchanging with the warranty, so we went to exchange my daughters beats ear buds expecting the same experience as usual. But that was most definitely not the case at all first they told us they couldn't do anything bc its through Apple care and to call Apple so we did and Apple was just as rude about the whole situation and told us they didn't do that and to go to best buy and have them exchange them. So we just left and I got with an agent on the best buy app and we came to the solution that we could just bring them up there and they will exchange them instore. So we went back to the store the next day with a copy of the entire transcript of what we came up with a best buy agent and the customer service at the store just kept saying they don't do this and wouldn't even try to read so he could understand. We asked for a supervisor and he was just as rude and could not have cared less, long story short we had to send off the headphones to Apple and we were told the next day (Saturday) or latest the following day (sunday) it is end of the day Tuesday and still have not heard anything. We have tried to call to the store and that's a joke all together bc it sends you to a call center and they can only say what the app says and talk to you like you're the most ignorant person on the face of the planet. End of the day Best Buy your customer service is ridiculous and the employees in the Midland Tx store are a poor representation of what your company stands for. I really love my car stereo but customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. After installation the dashboard was scratched badly. They said it came in that way. They said they would order another one. I assumed they would call me when it arrived. 2 months went by. After struggling to reach someone (they have an operator that takes calls for both the Midland and Odessa stores then transfers your call to the appropriate one.) they didn't know anything about it and it had not been ordered. I called back weeks later and the wrong one came in. Then weeks later the right one arrived. I had numerous problems setting up a time to have it installed. The last two times someone was supposed to call me back with an appointment time and nobody ever did. After trying to reach someone who could help me ( I was transferred to different departments when the installation department wouldn't answer... spent twenty minutes on hold countless times. Was told after reaching someone... the manager who new about the situation left already. Another time they had to leave early because of a family emergency.) Finally after getting SO upset and frustrated SO many times... I just gave up. My irritation... stress level and blood pressure have since gone down once I accepted the fact that the situation would never be resolved... But I still think about it every time I look down at the deep scratches on the dashboard kit I purchased... it looks like someone gouged it with a screwdriver!!!...the only reason I gave 2 stars is because I really...
