I am not sure what to do at this point. I bought a fridge that was delivered to my apartment on September 9th. The dudes that brought it into my apartment brought it to the third floor. Banging it up every step on the dolly. They put it in and plugged it in and everything seemed fine. I go downstairs for a bit and come up and it looks like from the thrashing it had going up the stairs they dented it but also dented the little mechanism that alerts the fridge to beep if the door is open. I cant use it or it will just beep. Now the door is really hard to open like its locked even though its not. That same day I went to chat and they said there was nothing they can do. I go to the store and was referred to the best buy geek squad manager. He said there was nothing they could do but they would call some sort of manager at the guest experience team. We wait there while they figure out what to do and speak to this guy that gives us a call. I ask him if it can be repaired and he says yes and the technician would come out September 13th(yesterday). No one shows up. No one calls. Today I go to the store. Little dude manager at geek squad avoids me and the gentleman who works in computers and does cashier(great customer service) tells me that they gave him a card for me to call customer service. I guess he couldn't gas light me himself so he sent the regular guy to give me the generic phone number. I ask for a supervisor again and finally some guy comes and tells me theres nothing they can do in the store. He liked to subtly karate chop my shoulder while he was telling me he couldn't do anything about the $600 paperweight in my apartment. He tells me to call the generic help line. I ask him if I call and they cant do anything what will happen. He's like "they have to 🤷♂️ 🤷♂️ idk". So I ask if they are open today and he says yeah 24/7. Im here in the parking lot of the best buy. I called and they are closed. I called again through a call back from sales on the website. I asked for a supervisor and they told me they dont know how to transfer me but they can rearrange for a exchange. Not sure because I could hardly understand him. I guess this is how they treat their customers. Im thinking about returning it and buying a fridge at Walmart or something. Big shout out to JONAH. They need to kick out that little dude in geek squad and promote Jonah to manager. He has Jonah go and deal with his problems anyway. Jonah was knowledgeable and patient. Hire more like him.
UPDATE: talked to their guest service team. Rep said that they dont even do repairs like the manager said, and was "meh" about the entire thing. We purchase every electronic in our entire house from Best Buy and have never had an issue with exchanging with the warranty, so we went to exchange my daughters beats ear buds expecting the same experience as usual. But that was most definitely not the case at all first they told us they couldn't do anything bc its through Apple care and to call Apple so we did and Apple was just as rude about the whole situation and told us they didn't do that and to go to best buy and have them exchange them. So we just left and I got with an agent on the best buy app and we came to the solution that we could just bring them up there and they will exchange them instore. So we went back to the store the next day with a copy of the entire transcript of what we came up with a best buy agent and the customer service at the store just kept saying they don't do this and wouldn't even try to read so he could understand. We asked for a supervisor and he was just as rude and could not have cared less, long story short we had to send off the headphones to Apple and we were told the next day (Saturday) or latest the following day (sunday) it is end of the day Tuesday and still have not heard anything. We have tried to call to the store and that's a joke all together bc it sends you to a call center and they can only say what the app says and talk to you like you're the most ignorant person on the face of the planet. Read moreI really love my car stereo but customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. After installation the dashboard was scratched badly. They said it came in that way. They said they would order another one. I assumed they would call me when it arrived. 2 months went by. After struggling to reach someone (they have an operator that takes calls for both the Midland and Odessa stores then transfers your call to the appropriate one.) they didn't know anything about it and it had not been ordered. I called back weeks later and the wrong one came in. Then weeks later the right one arrived. I had numerous problems setting up a time to have it installed. The last two times someone was supposed to call me back with an appointment time and nobody ever did. After trying to reach someone who could help me ( I was transferred to different departments when the installation department wouldn't answer... spent twenty minutes on hold countless times. Was told after reaching someone... the manager who new about the situation left already. Another time they had to leave early because of a family emergency.) Finally after getting SO upset and frustrated SO many times... I just gave up. My irritation... stress level and blood pressure have since gone down once I accepted the fact that the situation would never be resolved...
