Okay. Now this is going to be kinda like a "catch 22" because I really liked the service but, didn't necessarily enjoy the food.. my wife and I went in to have dinner and were greeted and seated quickly (A+) and just a couple minutes later our server stopped by to take the drink order and advise us that he will be right back with our drinks and some warm bread with butter (A+), again!! Finally after a few minutes of us strolling through the menu he promptly returned, took our order and then the wait was on. I ordered the Outback Ribs with a loaded baked potato and salad. My wife ordered Pineapple and Pork Medallions with a baked sweet potato and steamed vegetables.. When our food made it to the table it was truly NOT up to par with Outback standards! My Ribs were burnt and covered over by the sauce and my potato was raw in the center. My wife's meal didn't come out much better either. The Pork was extremely overcooked and over seasoned and the vegetables were still 100% raw, but the baked sweet potato was fantastic!. Now, here's that Catch 22 I was talking about. Just because we disliked the dinner doesn't mean we didn't like the service or the staff and the atmosphere. Our order came out like that because of an error in the kitchen and the server and the manager did the absolute best in rectifying the problem. My wife had her meal done all over again but was still not satisfied and me, I'm usually very much over it and let's move on!! Bad night for whoever was in the back, maybe?! This did not diminish the experience and interaction with the people who work in the front though!... I am not saying don't eat here, I'm just saying if you have a valid issue with your meal then be polite and mention it, but don't make a giant stink over something that is completely out of the control of your servers hands. Don't punish them by not leaving a Tip either, they took care of the issues and were more than...
Read moreWhat an interesting experience. We had a group of five people, and the night started out well. There's a secret menu item that we had asked for. Our server, being brand new, made it fresh, just for us! That was the good part. After that the rest of the night steadily went downhill. The side salads took a solid 45 minutes to come out, and were completely wrong. One member of our group cannot eat onions, the other salad had things we had specifically asked to leave off. Nothing big, just not right. We had to send the salads back three times before they cam out correctly. Drinks were left unfilled until we asked for more. My FIL had to ask about his soup a few times before it was brought out...wrong. The food took over an hour to come out, though it was good. I would like to commend the manager, Ashley (who was rather new), and our waiter (whose name I never got) for being professional about the whole thing. Being new, I can't blame everything on our waiter. He's still learning, and I don't think the food was his fault. A LOT of other people around us were having issues too with different servers. I'm going to hold the kitchen staff accountable for that mishap. Ashley ended up comping our entire meal, offering us free dessert, vouchers for a future meal for ALL FIVE people, and leaving us with a sincere apology and a promise to improve the place. I will be going back because of her. Keep...
Read moreI would normally leave a 5☆ review but, for the first time in over 30 years of going to Outback Steakhouses all over the United States, tonight was the absolute worst experience!!! BAR NONE! Went out for a nice dinner, my husband's birthday and we were seated in the bar area. That was fine, we've sat in the bar area on other occasions never a problem. The booth ahead of us had several drinks and became very boisterous and loud using very foul language. By the end of our meal it was to the point of absolutely unbearable. The waitress must have been one of their friends as well as she was standing there conversing with them and we motion for her to come to our table to pick up payment so we could get out of there. She continued to converse and joke around with the other table. When she finally came over, we asked her to ask the other table to please hold down the vulgar offensive language. We were told they could talk anyway they wanted to! We asked to speak to the manager and he apologized but also stated they Had no control of anyone's speech. If this is what my favorite restaurant has lowered it's standards to, COUNT ME OUT!!! For more than thirty years we have come to Outback for all family functions as well as for a nice meal with family or as a couple and even solo. I am very disappointed as well as...
