Venture Church: A Vibrant Community that is Both Relevant and Impactful
Venture Church is a thriving church community located in an ideal location that attracts people from different parts of the region. My family and I have been attending this church for two years, and we love it. The church has a vibrant teaching team that provides practical and relevant biblical teachings that are easy to understand and apply to everyday life.
One of the things that drew us to Venture Church is their commitment to serving the community. Every Monday night, members of the church provide food to those in need through their "Bread Booth" program. It is a clear example of the fruit of their faith and their willingness to put their beliefs into action. Throughout the year, there are numerous opportunities to give and participate in different programs and initiatives that aim to make a positive impact in the community.
Venture Church is also home to many strong and dynamic programs that cater to different age groups and interests. From Celebrate Recovery, Men's ministry, Women's ministry, Young Adults, Youth, Kids, and Legacy, there is something for everyone. The church also provides 40+ community groups that run during three semesters throughout the year, which cover all of these ministries. The programs are led by passionate and committed leaders who are dedicated to helping people grow in their faith and connect with others in the community.
Perhaps what makes Venture Church stand out is the diverse representation of the community. The church is home to people of different backgrounds and cultures, which creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. It is a testament to the church's commitment to creating a safe and accepting space where people can come as they are and be embraced by the love of Jesus.
Overall, I highly recommend Venture Church to anyone who is curious about Jesus and looking for a welcoming and impactful church community. The church's commitment to serving the community, providing relevant teachings, and creating a diverse and inclusive environment make it a unique and fulfilling experience...
Read moreVenture church is home to my family for a couple of months now and it’s such a shame we will be leaving in a couple of month as we move out of Washington state. My family will miss this church so much but we already praying we find a church we can call home as this one in our new state. From the first day of stepping into this church, the staffs are amazing, everyone is willing to help - to put into perspective, I’ve got toddler twin boys and they are a handful, from the door, we feel welcome here. You can evidently see the smile despite the mask. The teachings are what was most important to us and the church didn’t fall short. The pastors make Christianity practical to you and they make you know they are humans like you. Our lead pastor loves football and doesn’t hesitate to bring out life lessons from it which I think is a good one (though I’m no fan of American football and don’t understand most times 😃, I prefer soccer) This church is spiritual & my spirit man is awakened after every single meeting/gathering. The church also gives back to the community in a great way, I’ve volunteered a time and there was sooo much food and most importantly is the LOVE shared to the community. This is a prayer house and I pray for all the pastors (Brandon, Di & Morgan) that they continue to be strengthened with might in the inner man that they continue to boldly teach the word with abundance of miracles, testimonies and change of lives...
Read moreThis is a good church! My family has lived in 5 different states and tried countless churches in them all, but none of them seemed right until we found Venture Church. The sermons are biblically sound, the church is full of good people, from all different backgrounds, that support each other in trying to live a flourishing life as a follower of Jesus.
The pastors, being highly educated in theology themselves, not only encourage the congregation to grow deeper in their knowledge of scripture but offer attainable ways for us all to do so through Bible classes, discipleship groups, mentoring, whole church Bible reading plans, worship and revival nights, and so on.
A common complaint with larger churches is that it is hard to feel connected. Venture has more than enough options for new attenders to find community; groups, ministries, classes, picnics, date nights, etc. But they cannot force anyone to join these, and it would be inappropriate for them to hunt people down and convince them to participate. That being said, please know that this church does want you, the congregation wants to get to know you, and that you will find your people here if you make an effort...
