Buffalo Espresso — Restaurant in Mill Creek

Edited to say I only had issues with my cold brews this one block of time...they have been great since. Hopefully they start heating their food properly and then I can give them a full 5 stars. This is my go-to coffee stand and I really like Maddy:)

The coffee is usually good, though my last 3 visits in the past week or so, not so much. I get the cold brew and the flavor has been off lately. Heavy cream portions, as well. I had to stop at a gas station and pay over five dollars for heavy cream just to make one drinkable and then the next one I got two days later had so much heavy cream in it, it tasted like I was drinking heavy cream with coffee. Today's was a bit better but it still didn't taste like what I'm used to from the stand. The food that we have ordered twice has been terrible. The first one was the feta spinach pretzel. It was bland, soggy and gross. Today my daughter got a chicken bake and it was literally still frozen when they gave it to us. We were on our way out to Arlington so we turned the heat on full blast and put it directly on the heater to thaw out both sides. I will not be buying any of their food again...the pastries have not been an issue, just the actual food and the cold brew lately. I hope they step up their...

I used to go to this stand every day, 2 years ago. But then the service from one barista got very rude. The first time it happened, I thought maybe she's just having a bad day?! But after a few more times and horrible service each time, I decided to cut ties and I didn't go back....until about a month ago. Surely it's changed?!

I went every morning because the service was great! But then, another bad morning = rude service. I thought, give it a day or two, surely this can't be the norm?! Then, then it happened. I was charged $1.50 more for the same drink I always got and when I asked if that was correct (because I already had my cash out ready to go), I was completely dismissed in a rude manner then handed a "free" drink card with NO explanation. I asked several times about the cost. I was nice. I was friendly.

But they were not! Sadly, I'll never...

Went yesterday evening and the barista just could not get it right. Coffee tasted like sweet milk. My husband tasted it too so I know I wasn’t imagining it. She tried a couple times to remake it and this girl just doesn’t know how to make coffee so I gave up. I think I go here once a day or every other day but, their coffee has gone downhill that it’s not worth it. I’d rather go somewhere consistent. Also, the owners are very obviously hiring a specific type of barista. It’s like a bikini barista half the time now....
