Maine Quest Adventures — Attraction in Millinocket

A group of seven of us went canoeing in the Allagash Wilderness Waterway for the first week of May, 2016. Bryant was very helpful, and his knowledge of the Maine woods roads was excellent. We just hired him to transport us to our put-in spot and then to pick us up when we were finished. Ice on the lakes prevented us from making it to the agreed-upon spot. Bryant spent the day looking for us, and contacted the state troopers who radioed to a game warden who found our location. Then Bryant came the following day to get us. He took everything in stride, and arrived with a smile on his face. We knew we could count on him to get us back to civilization, even if it took him extra time to do so. Bryant and his Assistant Mike guided our group of two families on a 5 day trip on the West Branch of the Penobscot. Bryant was amazing, organized thoughtful supportive and fun to be with. He won over my 9 year old daughter so that she was excited to be canoeing with him everyday. We caught some true tough mountain weather along the way. He stayed positive and encouraging making even cold wet windy days fun, while making sure it was our trip and that we decided how fast and how much to do along the way. We were so beyond grateful to find Bryant and his team, who shuttled our vehicles for our West branch Penobscot trip from roll dam to north chesuncook. We serendipitously ran into Bryant at the put in and he was SUCH a nice guy, and even got us a tire as one of ours was shredded on the golden road, so we could get home quickly and safely sans donut. Wow, talk about going above and beyond! We will absolutely use Maine quest adventures for all our north Maine woods trips in the future, as we will absolutely be back....
