Hang Wong — Restaurant in Millinocket

Worst place we've ever been to. Food came out in 2 min. Was a child sized plate. Food was very poor quality. When we discussed the soup being less than up to par ( 2 Wong tongs and crunchy undercooked veg) the owner lady took it put back and the man owner started screaming bloody murder at her she started screaming back..they wouldn't stop. My kids were scared. She came back to table like nothing happened. Kids got up to go wait outside after the eating some of the terrible food. I was left alone because everyone was scared and it was uncomfortable. I told her to just keep the volcano bowl for one I didn't touch because I couldn't drink it at this point due to the screaming. She stated her husband wasn't screaming at me only at her about the soup. I asked of she needed help as she seemed like she may have been a victim of dv she said no. I told her how inappropriate everything was...she said sorry. Place was dead empty not a soul on a sat at 5 pm...I should have known why. We got to car they were screaming so loud we could hear them in parking lot and even in car with doors closed. Worst experience ever and as a victim of DV this was re traumatizing....unreal. close...

This was the second time we had their food, first time was takeout and the food and service was good, that was a year ago. This time service was so, so, the food worse, and luckily, I visited the bathroom after I ate, to say it's dirty and unhealthy is giving more credit than is do. Second bathroom closed, I can only imagine why, yuck! What ever you do, do not go into the bathroom. Had I gone in before ordering food we would never have ordered the first time we were there and we would not have remained this time around. Did I mention way overpriced? We will never go back, sorry. Don't they have health inspectors in Millinocket and in Maine? This is an absolute disgrace, you can not attract tourists under...

The food did not look or taste how we expected. I'm pretty sure we didn't get what we ordered but we didn't check until we got back to our hotel (that was on us). The person who took our order confirmed multiple times that she added a sauce to our meal but when we got to our room it wasn't there. We would have taken it back but we were exhausted. The woman running it was very kind and the good was cheap. I wouldn't try it...
