I had a great time. The summer exhibit this year is dinosaurs and I really enjoyed walking through and looking at the different dinos. Almost all of which were robotic and moved around and made sounds. Lots of fun. They also have a penny machine with 4 dinosaur designs tio choose from, though it was kind of hard to find since it is by the hippos and rhinos instead of by the dinos.
If all of their different summer exhibits are that enjoyable than I feel it would be well worth it to spend the extra admission to see them every year.
It was very relaxing walking through the rest of the zoo as well. The bird and underwater/reptile houses were really nice. Unfortunately several of the other exhibits were closed due to the virus this year including the small mammal house and most of...

Prime example: a few weeks ago my daughter went on the carousel ride and picked one of the horses that said it was closed for social distancing but we were the only riders. So why it was a problem is beyond me but they wouldn't start the ride until she moved. I get she was just doing her job but come on man. It was a non issue. Other than that sometimes the other guests can be rude which they can't necessarily control but I think they should have a better security presence with how rough...
Read moreLove the zoo, we actually use it as family therapy. When we just need a breather from it all we load up a cooler with snacks and stuff n we head out for the day. With so much to see n so much space n seating through out we can take fun breaks. Even though they were cool to see we can't wait to see what replaced the dragons n other new adventures
Prices keep going up however the amount of fun makes it worth it so we renewed our zoo pass so we can go as much as we want. ($120+ for me, two kids n a guest w/o parking for a year) we ride the city bus that takes us right to the gate, no long...
