I'm very pleased with the results of the job-request which I submitted to onsite-staffers at the "Minuteman Press"-office (Uptown) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in acknowledging the fact, I, as a self-publishing author, am dependent upon the work of graphic-designers to assist me in preparing a particular manuscript-project for public release through Internet-wide Web-distribution for sale at online e-retailing outlets (such as "BarnesandNoble.com" and "Amazon.com"), who offer the specific title (i.e., "Tasting Droplets of the Unforgettable Rain") to members of the Internet's marketplace of book-purchasers to buy and review at their own convenience in the future as a print-edition copy of the work. The designer onsite at the "Minuteman Press"-office, Kathy, did yet another outstanding job in re-sizing the ".pdf"-file doc. to meet the specifications I set out for her to follow and in re-setting the margins of the text-data windows appearing on each sheet in the doc. to permit the text-data to fit onto sheets with lesser page-space available to them in the re-sized ".pdf"-file doc., which I required for upload to the client-database at the printshop-facility which I utilize as a self-publishing author on the Web. The "Minuteman Press"-office in Uptown is a reliable team of onsite-staff workers whom I can always depend upon in order to fulfill the graphic-design assignments I request of the office in order to assist me in preparing a manuscript-project for public release via Web-distribution after the final template-file itself is installed in the account I keep on file at the self-publishing platform's...
Read moreMinute Man Printing Uptown is good value. They price very competitively and are often better than a big box store printing price. They have a high quality of work and ensure proofing. They are also able to help with fast turn around times. They don't just handle big jobs either. My partner and I had our wedding invitations, RSVPs, detail cards, and all envelopes (A7 an A4s) printed there. They looked stunning and were on high quality paper and the envelopes with addresses and our return were great. Price wise, we saved a bundle when compared to online printers like minted or Wedding Paper Divas. The shop also has the ability laminate too (not many printing places do). They did a special job for spoke cards for our bikes and I am please.
Personal values: They are union and support job training and second chances. Makes me love...
Read moreDon't believe the hype that it costs more to pay a quality, union printer. I'm involved in a fair bit of organizing, and I've had the pleasure of enjoying their work from ballots to t shirts. Most recently, I ordered 230, 8-page, double-sided ballots. Admittedly, the job was already in print, but I decided to shop around just to see what the difference in price might be to go "cheap." What did the numbers reveal? 71 cents... It was only 71 cents more to go union quality. I should be clear that, when I say 71 cents, I don't mean per ballot, I mean TOTAL. That meager 71 cents gets me quality results from quality staff that have never been anything but amazing to work with. Just do it, point to the union bug, & tell everyone at your event that you're proud you supported the work of well paid local...
