Perkins Hill Park & Pump Track — Attraction in Minneapolis

It's a decent pump track, but don't expect it to be anything like a Velo Solutions pump track. It's a bit rough and bumpy in some areas, but it's not super noticeable, especially on bikes with bigger wheels.

It's also in a lower income part of town which is great for the locals, but you definitely want to be paying attention to who is wandering around the area. That being said, I have never had an issue going there. So it's just something to be aware of and...

Downside….The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. When leaving in our car last week, we almost got hit by an SUV traveling, probably close to 100 miles an hour on a local street adjacent to the track. The very next day we saw a truck on the same street adjacent to the park, traveling at a high rate of speed. I would not visit here in...

The pump track is still underconstruction as of June 16th (my visit), but if you go when not being constructed you can use the track. The asphalt is all down, the rocks and grass in each loop are being placed down is all.

Track is nice, I imagine it'll be a lot of fun for anyone looking to try out a pump track! I've included the pictures I was able to take of the entire track...
