Splatball provided a great place for playing paintball. The indoor setting is obviously a little more limiting than an outdoor one, however, this won't be any issue for the vast majority of people. The indoor setting is also a good sacrifice for the lowered price of playing paintball here as opposed to a (more expensive to run) outdoor paintball place. If you're looking to have a good time with friends in casual paintball games, then this is a phenomenal option. If you're on the level of a pro paintball player, you'll have fun here, but will be slightly more limited as opposed to significantly larger outdoor fields, because you won't have large structures, trees, elevated terrain, or other classic covers in larger fields. If you're used to smaller fields that only have inflated covers, then this will be rather familiar to you. All in all, this is a fairly inexpensive option for having a fun paintball experience. The staff was very respectful, safe, had fun, and made the experience very enjoyable. While we were there, we had three of our players not show up, but they still gave us the paintballs that were paid for so they could play, and had no issues with us choosing how we wanted to play (so long as we were playing safely). I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good casual time playing paintball. I have no doubt that we'll be going again in the not too...
Read moreSo of you’re trying to come here you have to know the following:
The $45 per person only gets you 100 bullets. This lasts about 5 minutes. They sell more ammo, 2000 for $112 tax incl. For eight kids and 1.5 hours I bought one 2000 box and it ran out just before the end.
The bullets hurt. They leave marks and welts that last about 24hrs. Wear appropriate clothing. Other than the helmet, they provide no armor or anything, but they do have a light army-ish suit to rent for $10. It is better than a t-shirt. I’d recommend gloves too.
The paint can and will make it through the helmet/goggles, they will protect you from losing an eye, but you will get painted.
The kids still had fun bc they got to shoot each other for 90 minutes. So all good.
I did feel scammed when I realized bullets would cost me $100+ extra. The info regarding bullets is buried in their FAQs on the site, but it’s there. If you’re trying to have fun, you will most definitely have to spend more than the $45 per person.
I’d say $500 for 1.5...
Read moreAs someone who doesn't participate in this kind of sport, it was a bit intimidating to me when my child expressed interest in having a birthday party with this as the activity. However, the website was so helpful in understanding what splatball involves, what to expect, what party package would be appropriate, and the costs involved (though, keep in mind, you'll want to budget extra to purchase more ammo so that your party participants can maximize their fun). All of our guests, of varying ages and levels of experience, had a blast! The facility was clean and well-organized, and the instructors explained safety rules frequently and thoroughly. John lead us in the games, and he was amazing - professional, fun, and funny, he ensured a great experience for us all. I highly recommend Splatball for others and look forward to returning...
