A lovely walk as well as a great place for birds. Lovely as an more natural add-on to the more formal gardens on the other edge of the parking. Devoted volunteers working constantly to improve/restore the native plants. Plus a very reliable spot to here Common Yellowthroat bird, which always makes it a great day for me.

Great little oasis in the city, but just know it is FULL of poison ivy. I had a toddler with me and even though she is great about staying on the trail we had to turn around because it was just way too much to make sure she didn't brush up against anything.

Love this spot! Beautiful, quiet area next to Lake Harriet. Go bird watching, hiking, keep your eyes open for deer on the side trails and just stop and enjoy the fresher air. Playgrounds, parking and the Rose Gardens surrounded this wonderful place.

I had a great time visiting the bird sanctuary! Other than some simple dirt trails, it seems like the area has been left in its natural state. A great place to be at peace. Hard to believe you're still in Minneapolis when you're there

I’ve come here a number of times and enjoyed walking around. Happy to see some invasive species management and native habitat establishment! Parking is across from the rose garden, which my navigation doesn’t really direct to.

Probably my favorite park in Minneapolis to visit during the Autumn months. The colors are beautiful and you feel as if you're miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Pictures from early October 2020.
