The location is wonderful and the employees are great. But the method of increasing efficiency and cutting costs seems to be just to not cook the food. My grilled cheese was so undercooked that the cheese wasn’t melted and the bread not toasted, and the fries look like they are still fresh potatoes. I’m not super impressed given the location and busy-ness. UPDATE: In response to this review, the management immediately got in touch with me to apologize for my experience and make it right, which was a nice gesture. But then they committed to sending me a gift card to give me another opportunity to try them out, but never actually followed through on that. It has been over a year with no fulfillment. Seems like maybe the management is overwhelmed, which would explain a lot.

Love this place! It was a very busy Sunday and Alex was such a sweetheart in her suggestions of foods and services! I asked a lot questions about what to get and in the end, the black bean burger and cheese curds along with the lemonades, the best way to go! She was easy to talk to and I never felt rushed when ordering. Alex is like a boomarang, you keep coming back for more haha great staff overall! Also the food was ON POINT. Burger cooked to perfection and with the works - flavortown over here! The cheese curds were cooked just right - not too salty either and all washed down with the refreshing lemonade! They did not disappoint! I recommend this place and the lovely staff!

Two words: Pickle. Lemonade. I honestly had no idea what to expect when ordering this off their special menu, I’m not a particularly large fan of lemonade to begin with but oh. my. gosh. This drink was the perfect combination of salty and sweet, with an addictively zingy flavor. It’s all I crave when it’s hot outside. I’m a pickle lemonade convert. I also love the chicken Caesar wrap, crisp romaine and deliciously seasoned chicken with a creamy caesar dressing. They make the perfect combo.

The lines can get long, but it’s worth the wait—just make sure to allow some extra time. They serve batter-fried cheese curds, which I prefer over breaded, and while they’re a bit oily (as expected), the oil tasted fresh. The menu offers a great selection of summery lakeside fare. I especially enjoy the black bean burger, walleye sandwich, and coffee. Plus, the charm of the old buildings in the area adds to the overall experience.
