One of the most beautiful settings in Minneapolis! Views of a wonderful lake for sailing, canoeing, fishing. ..and walking/running. And if your hungry Bread and Pickle hits the spot! Cappuccino just what I needed on a windy, blustery day before the Walker/Methodist 5/10K fundraiser...decent turnout despite the weather because. ..great cause and even better locale!
The trolley came.by....delivering more folks to soak up the stately, historic homes and enjoy the bandshell....a princess fairytale of a structure ! And home to aome really great shows...all summer long.
Early urban planners may have made some decisions that make things in this town a real challenge ....the intersection of Lake St. & Calhoun /Isles...Lake & Hennepin. Later planners may have stumbled in not reserving SOME of the Wonderful Bike Greenway along with for some type of mass transit ...as the lightrails current situ is full of problems (not least which-doesn't serve those most in need)

Parking can get busy so maybe so show a little early or ride your bike if that’s an option. There is a paid parking lot and...

The buildings are very pretty and have been kept nicely over...
