My kids and I love Lakeshore Park mainly because we love to go feed the geese. If you’re looking for some outdoor entertainment you’re guaranteed to see lots of geese and ducks in this park and they’ll be waiting for any food you’re willing to share. There’s picnic tables decently spaced out if you want to sit for a snack or meal. There’s also a dog park area which is nice and two separate playground areas. One of them is pretty old and needs a little updating but the newer one is nice with more modern equipment. The last time I went I will say, I noticed there are no benches or anything to sit on near the new playground so parents prep yourself to either play along or take a seat on the grass. There’s also a small pavilion area where you could have a little birthday party or a family gathering and need more seating than just a picnic table. The breeze always feels great and the water view is pretty. There is an area where people swim and it’s popular during the summertime with the teenage kids. I’m not trusting any water I can’t see through so no worries you won’t see me getting in there but if that’s your thing jump on in or take the kids. Lastly I do remember back in the day there was one day of the week, I believe it was Thursdays they would have some kind of music thing going on where you had to pay to get in. I can’t exactly remember what it was but it was news to me that day, any other time there has never been a charge to get...

This was my first time eating crawfish. The first thing I had was the chips and dip which has chunks of crawfishin it. It was awesome. Later I got the crawfish platter. Then I had to ask someone how to eat the crawfish. A man from New Orleans abliged. The food was fantastic the music was great. Also the weather could not have been more perfect. I actually did expect more people. The only criticism I would make is that next year try to offer other foods such as French Fries and shrimp for those that don't like crawfish. Also put the drink wagon nearer...

Boulders in water near pier could cause serious injury. I've reported it several times at the gate when they are present.
