Well, I have grown to really dislike shopping at Kroger. I had actually started shopping at Walmart because you guys have all those self checkouts. When I have a big grocery order it is miserable trying to check out myself, especially with large heavy items. There is usually only one cashier that is open and that line is super long bc nobody wants to check themselves out. Unfortunately, I have never been trained to check groceries so going through self check out is challenging to say the least. There is usually one employee assigned to the self check out and if that employee is actually helping (sometimes they are just hanging out with their friends) they are overwhelmed. I think self check out is great when the customer only has a couple of items but like I said itâs pretty horrible with more than that. That being said, I tried to do click list out of desperation. The experience was easy and the employee I dealt with was very nice. My cilantro was a little wilted. I will use my other free pick up when I need groceries again but that will probably be the end of Kroger for me. It aggravates me that I am going to have to pay for good customer service. I can go to Walmart and walk a little further to get my items but they actually have check out cashiers to help and my grocery bill is lower. Thank Kroger but Walmart wins this round (never thought that...
Read moreI really enjoy the convenience of the location, the selection of products, the great prices and their in-stock percentage . The employees are always so friendly and eager to help. My only complaint is their self checkouts. It's not as user-friendly as Walmart's self-checkouts. First, the screen has a congested layout. Everything looks too close together and it's difficult to look at and find the command you're looking for. Second, the system demands you to use the touch screen command needed rather than recognizing an action taken in lieu choosing. Lastly, there are enough bagging sections at each station but not enough room to scan everything when you have larger items in an order. When you need more room and try to remove some of the scanned and bagged items prior to paying, the scales won't allow you to continue until the items are replaced into the bagging area. At Walmart I can load my groceries as I finish each bag if I need more room without the system preventing me from continuing. Frustration almost made me walk out and go...
Read moreThis store is an absolute mess. I'm regularly finding damaged/ opened packages after I get all the way home with them. I'm then forced to have to drive all the way back and stand at the never manned customer service desk for 10 minutes to get a refund.
The GM of this store needs to be fired ASAP! Completely clueless about what's going on in their store.
You'll also find rotten fruits and veggies infested with flies in the produce section and some of the rudest employees ever in the deli and bakery. Literally stopped using their deli and bakery because of how they treat their customers.
The old guy that stocks the dairy is also about as mean and surly as a person can get, and the online store shoppers block you off on every aisle.
I'm filing a report with Kroger corporate about the state of this store, but I won't...
